Ender felt something over his eyes and rope around his wrists and ankles. He tried to inch towards a direction before hearing footsteps. As they drew closer, he could tell at least one thing: this was Enzefer's doing.
"Are you surprised, Ender?" he asked him. He couldn't tell where he was exactly. A pair of hands lifted him and shoved him into a chair before removing the blindfold.
"How did you..." Ender started, realizing that he now was the one restricted by the curse. "Let me out of here!" he screamed.
Enzefer chuckled. "If you really think I'm just gonna walk back over there and take your place, you'd have a better chance of telling Vegeta he's not as strong as Goku and walking away perfectly fine." He watched as Ender struggled in the chair before realizing he was only pretending.
"You already forgot how tactfully skilled I am with my tail, didn't you, Enze?" he told him smugly shortly before grabbing the chair with his hands and throwing it at him. He missed, but swiftly followed up with a diving kick. "The next time you wanna try putting me in the seal, make sure I can't do anything!" Ender shouted as they both fell to the ground.
Seconds later, they heard the sound of glass crashing so loudly it was almost deafening. "You idiot! You broke the seal!" Enzefer screamed over the noise. "Not only did you force me out of my own home, but you managed to get it to a point that you have to make another one!"
"Well how am I supposed to do that?"
"Like hell if I know! Go find somebody if you can't! Oh and while you're at it go ahead and find that damn crystalite you decided to leave in that cave, maybe he'll have an answer for ya!"
"Dude!" Ender cut him off. "I can fix this. We know that. Milo probably knows someone and I wouldn't be surprised if he actually does." His other half looked at him hopefully. "When I wake up, since I know you can affect my natural form, I want you to make it look like I'm at my twenty-three hour time limit. They'll have enough time to 'get away' from the problem."
"And then?"
"If I'm right, we can get it fixed. If I'm not, it might be a couple days. But worst comes to worst, you can just expel me from your body. You've done that before," Ender told him. "When it happens, I'll just act surprised that you did it again." The last part he told him as he felt himself waking up, so he couldn't hear his response.
"Hey. Enzy. Stop pretending to be asleep. You had a nightmare, didn't you?" Stella asked him.
"Sorry, did I scratch you?" Ender asked, knowing that he'd done it to people in his sleep before.
"Nothing major, only light scratches that'll heal by noon," Stella replied. She didn't want him to worry too much about it.
"Okay, good. Let's just wait until everyone else is up before we do anything."
