Today Lily was coming home, with us to the flat. Logan was currently using the spare room, so Lily was going into my room and I would share with Max for the few days Logan was with us. Uncle Paul and Aunt Lucy had booked into a hotel by the hospital.
Logan had gone up to her room while we were joining Paul and Lucy for coffee, I knew this conversation was coming and was dreading it, what if they told us no, to keep our distance.
"Boys" they greeted us as we sat down and Max and I exchanged a nervous look.
"Relax, you're not in trouble...yet" Uncle Paul laughed but I couldn't relax just yet, not till I heard what he had to say.
"How do you see Lily fitting into your future?" he asked suddenly and I felt Max jump beside me.
"We love her, we see her as part of our family" Max replied.
"So like a sister, a cousin" Uncle Paul teased and Aunt Lucy smacked his arm.
"No sir, we love her like we would a wife, a lover, a partner" I tell him and they both smile at me.
"She's not got much experience with boys, partly your fault and I believe Logan has already warned you but don't hurt her, be very clear with what you want and the most important thing to remember, communicate with each other" Aunt Lucy warns us and we both nod.
"You knew, before this, how?" I ask curious.
"I saw similar actions between you and Lily that I saw your fathers make with Teddy, you protected her like family but in the last couple of years that protectiveness has been more targeted at Lily than your sisters. Its no surprise to us, we hoped for it from the moment she was born, and with how taken you were with her as a baby, you know even then you wouldn't let anyone else hurt her, or sometimes even play with her" Aunt Lucy reminisced.
"But..." Uncle Paul pinned us with a look "you will take things slowly, university not babies, or else" he warns and I feel my face heat at the implication.
"Yes sir" Max croaks out and I just nod wide eyed at the thought of Lily pregnant with our babies.
"Right, let's go get her out of here, and settled at your flat." Uncle Paul says helping Aunt Lucy up and leading the way to the lift.
Lily is waiting with Logan and gives us an apologetic look when we come in.
"Don't worry baby, we're fine" I whisper as I kiss her cheek and Logan grins, hearing the words.
"Told you Lil, Mom and Dad were only making sure they behaved with you and warned them 'no babies before university'" Logan teases her and her jaw drops in shock.
"Babies, what babies" she gasps and we all laugh at her.
"None yet, but in the future" I promise smiling at her expression.
"Ahh, stop embarrassing me" Lily groans and the nurse comes in with a wheelchair and Lily's medication.
"Ready to go" she asks and Lily nods, allowing Logan to help her up and into the chair.
"Good luck" the nurse calls as Logan wheels her out and towards the lift.
We get back to the flat and settle Lily onto the sofa, raiding pillows from bedrooms to enable her to get comfortable as Aunt Lucy makes some lunch and Logan and I keep her company, Max and Uncle Paul heading to the study to update everyone on what's happening and to arrange a visit to the university to check Lily out of the dorms and explain to them what's happened.
xx
The next four weeks Lily stayed home at our flat, Logan and her parents having returned to their respective homes, with promises to catch up over Christmas. Logan and Uncle Paul had both warned us again of rushing Lily but we had promised to go at her speed, and only once she was better.
Both of us had taken turns going into the office or working from home, so we were there to help her move about. And making sure she rested, her professors had agreed to send her work to her by email in light of what had happened and the administration had dealt with Imogen, who had left the university under a cloud. I know Uncle Paul had been in touch with her mother to ensure that Imogen did not pass off what happened incorrectly. Robbie and Nick had kept in touch with Lily and had informed us all that the security and safety at the dorms was improved after what happened, there was also a promise of maintenance work to the dorms to make them nicer.
Now Lily was feeling better she was bored, and fidgety. Max was in the kitchen cooking dinner and Lily was flicking thru the channels on the TV, having already picked up and discarded her book twice.
I watched her eyes widen as she flicked onto the Fifty Shades Freed film, just as a sex scene shows, her eyes darting to me, her breath catching as she see's me watching her, she bites her lip and looks away embarrassed.
"Lily?" I ask softly, getting up and moving towards her.
She looks up at me and I groan at the temptation in front of me. Such innocence.
I let my hand cup her chin and my finger caress her cheek, as her eyes darken.
I use her good hand to pull her up, my arms coming to band around her, holding her carefully close to my body, as I drop my head into her neck and nibble the side of her throat.
She shivers in my arms and I grin as I hear her low moan. I nibble along her jawline until I get to her lips and kiss her deeply, tugging her bottom lip from between her teeth with mine.
She groans again and I can hear Max getting closer, I turn her gently to allow him to come up close behind her, swallowing her gasp with my mouth as his lips find her neck and she feels the both of us.
"Do you want us to stop?" I ask in-between kisses and she shakes her head.
"Use your words baby" I tell her and she groans.
"Don't stop" she says, tilting her head slightly to allow Max better access.
"Are you sure?" I question her teasingly.
"God Hunter, please shut up and kiss me" she growls and we all laugh.
"As you wish" Max growls turning her to face him and claiming her lips, I grin at him before returning to her neck and marking her delicate skin as she moans.
The timer going off in the kitchen makes Max pulls back "Come on baby dinners ready" he tells her pulling her into the kitchen and seating her at the table, before grabbing another quick kiss before going back to the food. I grin at Lily sitting there a dazed look on her face, her fingers coming up to her lips as she watches him move around plating up our food.
"Eat up baby, you'll need your strength" He promises her and I laugh as she blushes bright red.
"Promises, promises" she sasses back and I exchange a look with Max, is she ready for us?
"Baby, have we ever made a promise we don't keep" he reminds her and her wide eyed looked between the two of us, as I nod in agreement sets the tone for the meal, Max and I teasing her and building up the excitement with casual touches.
After dinner is cleared, we lead Lily back into the lounge, each of us holding her hand, we can feel her nerves have returned.
"Lily are you sure you're ready" Max asks her softly and she nods, remembering to say the words as well.
"Yes, I'm ready, but... I don't know what I'm doing, what if I get it wrong" she looks up at us nervously and my heart beats for her as we gather her close.
"Baby, there is no wrong or right, everyone is different, just go with what feels right for you, and if we do something you don't like tell us and we will stop" she looks between us and Max nods.
"However, if we do something you do like tell us that as well" Max adds and she gives a little giggle.
"But don't worry baby, we will take it slowly, you haven't been cleared by the doctors yet, so until your cast is off and you are, we will explore, play and see what you like, but outside the bedroom, I'm not sure we can trust ourselves with you in a bedroom" I tell her and she blushes at my words.
