(Not really important to the chapter. Just really like this song🥰)

Bf/n - best friend's name

P o v c h a n g e

"How long is the ride, A-Arlo?" You asked cautiously. He tapped his thumbs on the steering wheel to the beat of the music quietly playing.

"It's just a little while. What's the rush?" He joked. You again played along with his fantasy.

"I'm just excited to spend the evening with you." You said giggling. You felt sick to your stomach lying about this.

"I'm glad to hear that." He said with a smile. He made small talk with you. And you politely responded, trying to get on his good side as much as possible.

"We're here." Arlo said with a grin. His piercing eyes shining coldly in the moonlight. He got out of the car, you soon followed after. He held his hand out for you, which you hesitated to take. You two walked through the park, where no one else was there. You were quiet for a while, your fear grew every step you took with him.

"What happened to your hand?" He asked. You froze up a second.

"Oh... I accidentally cut it..." You said as you rubbed your bandaged palm.

"On what, Y/n?" Arlo asked.

"Just trying to cut up some fruit..." You said with a dry laugh. He looked at you suspiciously.

"Your singing sounded amazing, Y/n. Your voice is like an angel's. I wish you can sing to me like that..." He cooed.

"Uh...thanks..." You said. You prayed there was a way for you to get out of this situation.

"What about bf/n? Do you still talk to 'em?" He looked at you curiously. How does he know all of this?

"Yep, never lost touch." You answered honestly.

"I remember every morning you came to school, bf/n would have a cookie or drink for you, and then you'd walk them to their first class. Oh! And you always wore that cute black coat with the gems on the back." He said with a laugh. This was back in high school! Then it hit you. Arlo attended your high school. Arlo Jackson. Right guard for the football team. You saw him walking down the halls every once in a while, but you never really cared to talk to him. He grabbed your arms.

"Y/n...I've been in love with you since high school...there hasn't been a day I haven't thought about you. I've even looked you up online. You're an FBI agent in the BAU! Brightest one in your group. Well, second brightest of the bunch. Second only to Spencer Reid..." He said with a growl. You didn't know what to say. You were shocked. But you admitted you're sometimes jealous of Spencer's eidetic memory...

"It's quite sad you'll never do anything as great as he did..." He said, trying to get on your nerves.

"W-What are you talking about?" You asked.

"I mean, he outshines you in everything. You're the oddball of the group. The black sheep. But you don't have to worry about him anymore." He said. You chewed on your lip, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

"What?" You managed to say. His smile turned cold.

"Why don't you stay with me? You won't have to deal with Spencer anymore. Or how they treat you differently. It's not like he or them care about you. I heard the way he talked to you out of the bar. Why would you even go near a guy like that? I know I can treat you better. I'll give you all the love and attention you deserve." He said as he gripped your arms. You hissed in pain. Suddenly lights obscured your vision.
