W A K E  U P!

Your eyes shot open. Everything was pitch black Getting up, you hit your head on something.

"Shit" You groaned and rubbed your head.

"Where am I?" You said to yourself. It was too dark to see anything. You didn't know where you were or if you were able to escape. You felt walls closing around you. You backed up against a wall. You felt extremely cold.

You pulled your knees up to your chest. You felt your anxiety bubble up and rest in your throat. Your eyes stung with tears. You found it getting harder to breathe. You quickly stood up, trying your best to take deep breaths. The cold floor hitting your bare feet sent chills down your spine.

You cautiously walked around, your hands out searching for a light switch. You felt a string and pulled on it. With a click, light temporarily blinded your eyes. As your eyes adjusted to the single lightbulb illuminating the room. You looked down at yourself. You had a black tank top and short shorts. No wonder you were cold. You miserably tried to pull your shorts down.

You looked around. There were boxes all over the place. There was a table with tools and rope. and a single chair in the corner. You wiped your eyes and facepalmed. How could you be so stupid? The doorknob began to jiggle. You quickly looked around for anything to protect yourself. You found a wrench in a box, picked it up. The door opened, and you saw him standing there with surprise etched onto his face.

"Ah, you're awake." He said as he walked down the stairs to the basement.

"Arlo..." You grimaced. He sent you a wink.

"Why are you doing this?" You mumbled. He backed you onto a wall.

"Because, my dear..." He said as he put his hand on your chin.

"I love you, don't you get it?" He said as he caressed your cheek. You shuddered at his touch. You instinctively turned your head away.

"Break up with Spencer. I told you he wouldn't treat you well. He threw you aside when you needed him the most." He said.

"We-It's just a stupid fight, not to mention it was your fault...He's gonna know I'm missing y' know." You said with tears in your eyes. He forced you to look at him.

"No, he won't! Don't you get it? You're nothing to him. He was only with you because he felt bad for you. Do you even know what he did after you guys got into that fight?" He said. You looked at the floor, not wanting to see him.

"He went to go see with some other bitch! I saw it with my own eyes." He said as he gripped your wrists, making you drop the wrench. He kicked it across the room.

"I don't believe you..." You spat.

"He did! I can show you! I have proof!" He exclaimed as he gripped your wrists tighter. You winced in pain.

"He wouldn't do that!" You snapped. Arlo growled as he gripped your throat. You gasped for air, his fingers tightened around.

"You're just trying to get me to hurt you, huh?" He hissed. You groaned in pain, tears fell from your eyes. Black spots appeared in your eyes. They got bigger as you found it harder to breathe.

"I'll show you..." That was the last thing you heard before you passed out.

You woke up with a pounding headache and a stiff neck, you tried to move your hair out of your face, but found you weren't able to move your arm. You tried moving the rest of your body, but you couldn't. You realized you were tied to a chair, still in the basement. You tried your best to wriggle your wrists out of the ropes but only burned your wrists.

"I'm so stupid..." You groaned in frustration.

The door swung open and you heard whimpers. You quickly turned to see Arlo gripping a woman's hair, dragging her into the basement. She was gagged and sobbing. You watched in horror.

"Arlo, what the hell are you doing?!" You shouted.

"I'm giving you proof that he doesn't care about you." He said as he pushed the woman to the ground. You pulled the chair forward as a desperate attempt to help her. She collapsed on the floor, still crying. Arlo rolled his eyes and bent down.

"I'm going to untie you, and if you try to run or scream for help, I won't hesitate to shoot you. Got it?" Arlo whispered in her ear. Her cries got quieter as she nodded her head yes. He ungagged her and she carefully crawled away from him.

"Are you okay?" You asked. She slowly nodded.

"Tell her your name." Arlo demanded her. She looked at you with frightened eyes. It made your heart sink.

"D-Dahlia." She croaked. Dahlia's ocean blue eyes glossed with tears. She had fair skin, with beautiful jet black hair. She was so beautiful, any other day you saw her you'd think she's a model.

"I'm so sorry." You whispered. She gave you a slight smile before looking back at Arlo.

"Do you know why you're here, Dahlia?" He asked. Dahlia shook her head, slowly crawling father away from him. Afraid of what Arlo would do to her.

"What did you do two days ago? Oh, wait...here's a better question. WHO did you do two days ago?" Arlo spat. She gasped quietly. Two days ago? Were you out for that long?

"I don't know what you're talking about-"

"You know DAMN well what I'm talking about!" Arlo shouted. Dahlia cowered at your legs.

"Who did you go home with? That night at the bar?" Arlo asked. Dahlia wiped her eyes and looked at you with fear.

"Th-there was this guy I met two nights ago. We- we were pretty drunk but I remember him saying that his girlfriend broke up with him and that he was a horrible boyfriend. And I tried to make him feel better...one thing led to another and, we made out. It didn't mean anything!" She cried. You were more relaxed, it doesn't sound like Spencer at all. You guys didn't even establish breaking up. But something felt off.

"What's his name?" You asked. Arlo raised a brow and gave a villainous grin. Chills ran down your spine.

"Um...Spencer. Spencer Reid."
