"Are you serious??" Sophie is hesitate. She doesn't know how to answer. She caught in between nervousness or doubts. Some thoughts arise inside her mind. Is she really a lucky woman?. "Will you be my wife?" Jumin kneels on the floor. An excitement and hopeful smile cast on his face. Promptly, he opens a small enclosed box with an astonishing diamond ring inside. Everyone inside the restaurants seems to enjoy a special moment too. They were clapping and cheering for them. It flustered Sophie as every eye falls on her.
"Jumin... is this for real? But... Isn't this too early?" Sophie wonders if Jumin is making the right decision. She realises that he is rushing to finalise his decision. Jumin is smiling widely once Sophie says yes. He is already over the moon. It seems he does not even listen to her words. He is overfilled with happiness. "I will make you the happiest woman on earth. The very sight of you sets my heart racing and the words "I love you" aren't enough to express how I feel about you right now..." He gets up and pulls her into his arms. He squeezes her tight as he does not want to let go of her.
"I want you to only look at me... No other man..." Jumin whispers. His words sound more like an order, not a choice.

The next day, Jumin's father, CEO Han asks to meet Sophie. It freaked her out, but she still has to face him later. She embraces herself to meet the CEO as she realises Jumin might have told his father the news. She does not know what his response will be. It is either a positive or a negative one. Han's family were from a well-known family. Meanwhile, she is someone from a broken family with a hidden identity that no one knows.
She walks nervously to the CEO's office. "I hope I am doing the right thing..." She murmurs before walk inside. Inside the room, she sees CEO Han sitting facing Jumin. There is a big cheery smile on Jumin's face. He looks excited to see her. "Have a seat Sophie..." CEO Han kindly offered her a seat. Sophie bowed politely and sat next to Jumin. "So, you are the one to break this cold-hearted man over here. Well, you have done a brilliant job. It has never crossed my mind that he wanted marriage, haha!" CEO Han is laughing as he thinks it is an abnormal thing for Jumin to do.
"Well, I wanted to introduce her sooner, and I am sure you would love her. Father, when do you think is the best date for the marriage" Jumin asked his father. "Don't rush things too much, let us wait until the end of this year, shall we? There will be a lot of preparation..." CEO Han gives him a wise decision. "Okay then, if you said so..." Jumin agrees with his father. "Where will be the engagement party held? Have you chosen the place?" CEO Han asks Jumin. "No, I want Sophie to choose everything, she is the best planner in our company, would you plan our engagement party, Sophie?" Jumin asks Sophie. "Should there be a celebration? It would be fine if we keep the secrecy..." Sophie gives them an unusual response.
"Why? Don't you want a big party to celebrate?" CEO Han questioned her. Jumin's expression changed to sour. "No, I don't need that, I'm happy that Jumin is always by my side, I need nothing else, and also, I don't want to be under the attention. I will be happy if we can keep it low " Sophie let out her own opinion that confused both CEO Han and Jumin. "But Sophie..." Jumin was frustrated with her decision. His facial expression changed from excitement to disappointment. "Well, if that's what you want, we should respect your privacy" CEO Han seems to agree with her decision.
The meeting ended and left Jumin with frustration. He refuses to keep the engagement quietly because he wants everyone to know that she belongs to him. Sophie notices Jumin has become gloomy the whole day. "Why are you look so sad?" She asks.
"Nothing..." He does not answer.
"Tell me Jumin, are you angry about this morning?" She urge him to explain. Jumin sighed he could not hold his frustration and speak up about his dissatisfaction.
"Well, Why? Why don't you want the world to know? I'm really upset about it..." Jumin could not hold it and let out his words.
"Jumin, I'm always yours and will always be yours. I don't want the media to chase after me. You are always in the spotlight, and someone from a well-known family, meanwhile, I was nobody..." She soothes him.
"Then please come and live with me, please..." He pleads with her to live with him.
"Well, I need time to think about it..." She answers.
"You can take your time..." Jumin looks desperate while holding her hands.

A few days passed. Sophie has a deep thought of Jumin's suggestion and she agrees to live with Jumin. Their mutual friends were shocked to hear the news.
"You guys are so crazy, marriage is not a game, Sophie, have you considered it? Spending the rest of your life with that jerk, seriously Sophie? You should have picked me T_T..." Zen speaks up. He thinks it's unfair for her to pick Jumin as he is deeply in love with her too

From that day onwards, they both live happily together as they can stay close to each other. As days passed by, their love, trust, and intimacy grew stronger. "Are you happy to live with me?" Jumin question. "I am..." Sophie answers and hugs him tightly.

Because of their unusual closeness, people in the organizations noticed their relationship. Jumin unhesitantly treats her intimately while Sophie is trying her best to hide it. Once a rumour started, she received so many negative comments. Some people were also bad-mouthing her. It breaks her heart to hear the words.
"A poor woman, out of nowhere, appears in Han's family... What else do you think she wants? Must be money right??..." A few of the female employees are gossiping inside the pantry.
"They are jealous of you Sophie, just ignore them..." Jaehee is being optimistic.
"It's okay... They can say anything they want..." Sophie act as she does not care about people's comments but deep inside, it broke her heart. Some people even accuse her as a gold digger. A woman who is only aiming for Jumin's wealth.

On one fine day.
"Jumin, you don't even know where I came from or who my families are, yet you trusted me so much" Sophie feels concerned about Jumin's trust. "Then tell me... " Jumin hugs her.
"Well, my life is complicated, my father has re-married and abandoned me after that. He has never listened to me, and only cares for my step sister more. Everytime my step sister and me had an arguement, he always chose her... It broke my heart. We had a big argument the last time I saw him. I refuse to stay with him... I grew up with a grandmother, we lived in a small house, a traditional village in a rural town but we are happy... Jumin.. have you heard of the rumours? They called me a gold digger... Don't you think so?" Sophie looks at Jumin and he smiles.
"They can say anything they want, and I'm not interested in what they are mumbling, so please ignore them " Jumin clasps her tightly in his arms. "You have me to lean on..." He whispers.

The next day, a good-looking guy appears at the C&R International lobby. He was wearing a white jacket and a blue shirt. The receptionist greets him and escorted him to Jumin Han's office.
