The next following day, the news of the wedding spread fast. All televisions channel are now focusing on Jumin Han's wedding. Sophie is sobering last night. She could not resist the pain as she thought she could withstand to see him with another woman, but she could not. She goes to work as usual and pretends as nothing had happened. She put a false image and pretends that she is all right.
On her way to the CEO's office, she accidentally encountered Jumin inside the elevator. She tried to act normal but the circumstances are awkward for her. "Congratulations... You both look great together..." Sophie congratulates him, but he does not react to it. He quickly steps out from the elevator as its open. "I guess he really has moved on..." Sophie mutters. Unhesitantly, she heads out to the CEO's office.
As she walks inside the spacious office room, CEO Hans gives her a warm smile. He looks like a father who is concern about his daughter. Sophie feels embarrassed to see him but she has to face reality. "Sophie... What happens? What's all this? I got a headache because of this..." CEO Han question.
Sophie is quiet for a while before she gathers up her courage to talk. "I am sorry, I don't think I'm the one for him... He must have thought carefully before he made that decision" She tried to calm the CEO.
"But he don't seems like himself... I know my son... He would not introduce you if he was uncertain of it..." CEO Han murmurs. He felt guilty to Sophie as he knows his son is sometimes acting foolishly.
Sophie took out an envelope. "I have a favor, can you help me, CEO Han?" Sophie smiles innocently.
"What is it?" CEO Han asks.
"I should have passed this to Jumin... But I couldn't... He will not accept it. So, I am giving this to you, please accept this..." Sophie hand over the envelopes. The CEO takes out a piece of letter from the envelope and unfolded them. Resignation letter.
"Why?" CEO Han doubts her decision. He returns her the paper as he refuses to take it.
"I'm sorry, I can't stay here any longer. Please accept my resignation..." Sophie bows to CEO Han and uplifts her head before he accepted it.
With a heavy heart, he took the letter. "If you need anything, just tell me, you are like a daughter to me anyway..." CEO Han smiles warmly.
"Thank you, CEO Han..." She replied to him with a smile too.

She took a 24 hours resignation notice and today will be her last day at work. No one knows her resignation except CEO Han. She feels empty as she can no longer see her friends. After everything settled, she confronts Jumin for the last time. As she tidies up her office this morning, she found the expensive hand-knitted handkerchief Jumin had lent her before inside a pouch. "Oh! I totally forgot about this!" She exclaims in surprise. She thinks it will be the best reason for her to see him for the last time.
She is looking for Jumin but Jaehee let her know he is in a meeting room. She headed to the meeting room and waited for him patiently outside. She watches him in a distance. Jumin notices her standing outside the glass-covered room and gives her a death gaze. She watches him hopelessly and waited for him to come out.
"What do you want?? I am a busy man, my times are precious, please don't waste any of it..." Jumin speaks up.
"I wanted to return this... and I... I have something to tell you" She hands over the handkerchief and wait for Jumin to take it. Abruptly, Rika appeared out of nowhere. It startled Sophie to see her. "Just throw them... I don't need them anyway..." He sounds sterns, and he pulls Rika away from her. Leaving her speechless. She left the building with a broken heart and a new vision.
