*Kaylas POV*
Matt and I walk up the stairs the a hallway with a lot of doors, 9 maybe 12 doors. Matt opens one to a big bedroom. It had pink walls, a bed, a desks, a dresser, a closet and a flat screen TV.
"Wow" was all I was able to say.
"Yea I know, this is your room" Matt told me.
"Too bad the walls are pink tho" I say looking at the pink walls.
"Don't worry about it. Tommorrow we are get paint and clothes,etc for you and Lily." He replied.
Matt then puts my suitcase on my bed and helps me unpack. Even tho at the orphanage I rarely got clothing. All I had was a pair of black vans, a few shorts, one pair of jeans, 2 crop tops and sweaters. Plus a SnapBack and beanie.
"WhoA you don't have a lot of clothes." Matt tells me shocked. But then sees my badly ripped jeans.
Before Lily had came to the orphanage I got beaten at times. A lot of my clothes had been ripped. The orphanage warden had a rope with blades at the ends.
"Kayla.....tell me you didnt..." Matt trailed off with wide eyes
"I have no idea what your talking about" I managed to reply back VERY quickly.
"You got beaten didn't you." He says and all I could do is nod and stare down at me feet.
"I'm sorry I couldn't help you..... Lily should be in the room infront of you, and I'm a couple doors down left. If you need anything I'll be down stairs" matt says as he leaves the room and glances quickly at me before closing the door.
Great, another soul that's giving me pity that I don't need.
