At least we know that Kayla will be fine and not dead. But I can't help but feel bad for Kayla. Watching her parents and sibling die in front of you and your best of friends slowly die in front of you is horrible.

I little after, the doctor had came into the room, telling us we had to leave. Slowly, one by one, we all walked out of the small clinic room.

Before I left, I stood next to Kayla's bed. And kissed her forehead, saying a few words to her.

"I will always be your protecter ......."

)Kayla's POV(

I woke up in a meadow. Surrounded by trees and a forest. In the meadow was a waterfall, along with a lake. The sun has set and the moon was full.

The sounds were only filled with the crickets and the small wild life In the woods. Stars were present, and lightning bugs were flying, spreading a dim patch of light wherever they went. But that wasn't what I was paying attention to.

There was a woman. A woman with a white flowing vile on her head. Wearing a white, light baby blue dress, that reached her feet. The woman moved the veil out of her face. And I gasp.

She was utterly beautiful

Her dark brown hair fell in ringlets at the bottom. In the middle of her forehead, stood a black outlined crescent moon, with delicate swirls in the middle filling of the moon, much like the one on my back, only her was in her forehead. And her eyes were a sharp sliver. And on her cheeks was a faint pink blush. She had the most flawless skin and body. She was like a goddess.

Woman- "Do you know who I am, my dear child?" Her voice soft, and angelic.

Kayla- "No, am I suppose to? Sorry if I am." Confusion lacing every word.

The women chuckles softly at my response.

Woman- "My name is Artemis, and I am the Moon Goddess."

I bow down at the moon goddess, mentally scolding myself for not doing so in the first place at the hand of her.

Artemis- "No need to be fancy and bow darling. But not the time to talk about that. There is a war coming and you need to stop it. And listen to my words, Kayla. You will need to learn how to manage your anger. The stunt that was pulled was a fact of it. Luckily you were able to control it and save Alexandrea. You set her straight because of her almost-death experience."

I chuckle a bit at the memory. Everyone real did think she was going to die.

Artemis- "Anyway, that's not why I called you. The war has changed a bit. The war is mainly between the rouge werewolves and the pack werewolves. The rouges are teaming up with other races, like the rouges vampires, dark fairies, evil witches and so on. But you, your stuck in the middle of it. With the powers of any supernatural and turn into a certain one for any eternity, the races will try to win you over. You have to choice for the better or for the worse. You are our savior and our destruction. You must choice the good. And not only will the supernatural world will be unsafe, but even the human world as well."

Kayla- "I have already made my decision, I chose the good."

Artemis- "good, but remember this, light is not always good, as well as dark isn't always bad. And the day is always good as the night isn't always bad."

The goddess sighs and cups my face in her hands, starring in my eyes intently. Her eyes fog over and her crescent marking glows a bright light.

Artemis- "goodbye Kayla. Remember what I told you, this is not the last you will see of me."

That was the last of what I saw before I fell in the black void, darkness consuming me.
