Chapter 14

)Kayla's POV(

So after we found out my new power invisibility, I had turned around to go to my room, shower and go to bed. But, Sophia stopped me. She had seen my mark. And lucky I was able to pass her and go to my room with a simple,

"Go the crapsickles away, I'm too tired so goodnight and goodbye. I'll tell you 2morrow"

And with that I went to my room and did everything I needed to. Tomorrow was a new day, I wanted to savor it. I had went to bed.

*Next Morning*

Me and Sophia met up with Lily and was going to our classes. The only thing bothering me was the stares shot my way, and the fact I haven't seen the boys anywhere.

I pushed the worried thought away and convinced myself they probably was just being social and meet new people.

Anyway, the classes went on and it was continuing infuriating me when people got quiet and starred or shot glances my way as I walked pass them.

Luckily it was time for lunch now. A period I had with all the boys and Sophia and Lily. Unfortunately, the second I walked into the cafeteria, the room got quiet, and people shots glances and stares my way and was quietly whispering to and fro.

I got my food and sat with the guys and introduced Sophia to them, turns out, Sophia is Jack G's mate.

Interesting......*wiggles eyebrows*

The cafe was still quiet tho. And it was just so that it bothered me to much I had to do something. And that was,

Standing up from my seat,

Making a loud noise of my seat moving,

Everyone looking at me,

I stand on the table,

Matt- "Kayla what are you doing?" He whispered.

Kayla- "shush I got this." I whisper back.

I crossed my arms over my chest and looked over to everyone's curious stares and shocked glances.

Kayla- "Can you please not act so weird when I walk by you? Like seriously!!! I am just I girl that walks pass. So when I walk pass you, don't act like I'm fricking medusa with a cake as a dress! Proceed."

I got down off the table and sat back down next to Matt and ate my food. But seriously, they need to know I'm just a girl.

Lunch was just not my favorite period anymore. I got up to throw my food away, when a plastic Barbie came up to me with her lost puppies behind her. Me being me, I ignored her and threw away my food and left the lunch room. Being pretty sure, everyone was watching me. I walked into the hall way, in front of this window thing.

Let me explain. In between the wall that separates the lunch room and the hall is a big square glass window. And I stood in the hall way in front of the hall with my back on the window.

The Barbie crew walked out of the lunch room and in front of me. Me noticing that the leader was the girl who creates illusions in the area yesterday.

Alexandrea- "you little shit! You made me look like a fool yesterday! Your gonna pay. And trust me, this is my school! I could make your life a living hell!" She screamed in my face.

I took this to notice how she was a werewolf, she was lucky to be able to have this rare power as a werewolf, to bad it was wasted. She must be one of the 'gifted Wolves.' And how the how cafe was looking through the window and how people gathered in the halls creating a crowd around us.

But me having reflexes, I slapped her straight across her face when she screamed in my face. It's not my fault she scared me.

She turned back at me, she wolf was in control and her black eyes proved that.

Alexandrea- "your gonna pay for that"

It all happened so fast, And with that she grabbed the collar of my shirt and pushed me through the window. The glass going everywhere. And people like Lily and Sophia was having the guys holding them back.

I launched my body back up and power surged through me. As I opened my eyes, people gasped, whispering,

'Omg'

'Her eyes'

'Holy-"

'Her eyes are purple'

'Alexandrea better run before newbie gets her'

'Damn, stuff just got real'

But I didn't care. I ran towards Alex and pushed her towards the wall, but we didn't crash into the wall, more like go through a portal and land on the roof of the school.

By now, everyone was outside, watching what would happen next. And I was pretty sure people were recording this.

I mean, who wouldn't?

It was their queen bee and the new girl fighting each other like death. Not to mention, but they both went through a portal, one went through a window and one slapped the other.

Alex got out of my grasp and and charged at me, but I moved out of the way. And it went so fast I couldn't register what happened. She ran off the high building roof and was falling. And I ran after her. I jumped off with a new found speed. But I didn't fall, I was running down the wall of the building with the new speed. Alexandrea was screaming and the crowd was gasping and crying, they thought she was going to die.

Key word: thought.

Before she fell I jumped and grabbed her and landed softly on the floor. Everyone quieted down and only the sobs of Alexandrea and the heavy breathing of my chest and breath was heard. I slowly put Alexandrea down and she grabbed me in a hug and was crying on my chest.

Talk about awkward

I did something that surprised even myself, I hugged her back and told her softly ,

Kayla- "next time, let's not jump off the building."

She softly chuckled and whispered a 'thank you' and walked to the nurse that was there in the crowd, and she walked away. The crowd was looking at me and starring quietly. But the adrenaline ended and was quickly replaced with pain and heat.

Kayla- "Does anyone else think it's a little hot outside?"

And I fell to my knees and blacked out, falling to the ground.
