Kendall's POV:

"I'm sorry. Hold that thought." I said removing my phone from my back pocket. Walking out from Mia's room, and shutting the door behind me.

"Hello?"

"Hey Kenny." A female voice sang through my phone.

"Mackenzie?" I questioned.

"That's right baby. I miss you. How come you weren't in school today?" She sadly said into the phone, I could tell she was faking.

"Mackenzie, get this through your pretty little pea-sized brain; in that hallow head of yours. We're not going out anymore! And it's none of your business to know why I wasn't in school." I practically yelled.

"It was that nerdy friend of your's wasn't it. Kia?" I could feel the smirk on her face through the phone.

"By the way her name is Mia. And so what if it was? You shouldn't even be giving a shit anyways."

"Why do you give her more attention than me, Kenny?"

"Mackenzie, we aren't going out anymore! Don't call me Kenny. As a matter- o- fact, don't call me at all!" I yelled into my phone, pressing end.

I was panting. How coming I went out with a girl as stupid as her? I did a couple of deep breaths to calm myself down from talking to that auburn haired bimbo. I grasped the door knob, taking one last deep breath before I walk back in to my best friend. I entered the aqua colored room to see my beautiful best friend laying on her side.

"Hey." I whispered shutting the door lightly behind me.

She sat her fragile body up on the bed, against the frame. Her milk chocolate eyes open widely, beautiful eyes not caked in makeup; natural ones.

"Is everything alright?" She asked cocking he head to the side a bit.

"Everything's just peachy." I mumbled putting on a fake smile.

I walked to the right side of the bed where she laid, and sat right by her hip.

"No it's not, I could hear you yelling. It was Mackenzie again wasn't it?"

"No it wasn't."

"Kendall."

"Fine it was." I sighed in defeat.

She opened her arms, offering to hold me. I declined. Her head looked down at her thumbs as she twilled with them.

"What were you going to say to me before I walked out?" I asked tilting her chin up, so her eyes met mine.

"It's nothing." She said turning her face way from me.

"Come on tell me." I said bringing her gaze back to mine.

"It's silly Kendall."

"Just tell me."

"I like you Kendall."
