Chapter 12:
Mia's POV:

My eyes open to the sunlight streaming through the window, but shut at the brightness. My hands hoist the covers over top of my bed head. One eye pokes out, seeking for the time. 5:53 am. Ugh. Why does high school have to start at 7:30. It should be high school starts at 8:30; and elementary school starts at 7:30. I huff at the facts that nothing will change the time of when school starts in the morning. I throw the covers off, seeking for my slippers. My ocean blue toes slip into the fuzzy purple slippers. My arms stretch over my head, cracking my fingers in the process. My body glides to the shower, jumping into the warming water. Once I completed one item off my to do list before school, I began on the second. I held my towel snug around my body as I searched for clothes. I look down at my wrist, bringing back the memory of two days ago.

"Nope. Mia your stronger now." My mind says, as I look way from the pain forever scared on my wrists.

I grab my black skinny jeans, a pale flowy see through top, a white tank top, and strappy sandals. I changed quickly, running to the bathroom to do my hair. I curl my hair into pretty sandy brown locks. A little hair spray to hold them together. No make up, because I'll probably end up crying at some point of the day. Rushing downstairs filling a bowl of fruit loops. I wolf it down, seeing the time being 7. Everything was set by the door, all to do now was brush my teeth. Ok, let's go. I rushed to the door, slinging my backpack over my right shoulder. I locked the front door on my way out, sprinting to my car. My forest green pick-up warm from the morning sun. I start the engine, and begin my trip to the hell hole.
