I know that many users out there stress out on how to put a story out there no matter what it is but naturally users over stress. I get it, you want people to really like your story, leave comment and votes, maybe even feedback, or most likely have your story requested among friends. One thing that I will tell you, even if that is your goal, you won't get that over night.
When you're writing a story don't stress yourself if you're just starting off on wattpad. However if you have been on here for a while and feel like your stories aren't getting the attention you wish, than my big advise to you is to go back into your story and re-read it.
If you can't sit through your very own story, most likely no one else will. Sometime users edit the entire story over to minimize or add details, sometimes even demolish unnecessary characters and events.
The truth behind every story is to have fun with it, play around with the characters and events, don't overthink thing pull pictures from google videos from YouTube, explore your inner writer. We are all born writers we just need to unlock the small key elements we never learn in school.
I know you're probably wondering if I even know what I am talking about, I can assure you that I do know because that's what I did. It worked out well for me and I believe that if you let your imagination run wild, It'll work for you too.
If you have an idea on an event you want to add or a plot change then don't be afraid to go with that idea because you never know how it'll turn out maybe you won't like it but perhaps someone else that read your story does. This will help you out in the long run.
