The real secret on being a good writer is to observe from a far. What I mean by this is, when reading someone else's stories pay attention to how many errors and how many times the side track, speed through context, or how many times something is repeated.
Go back to any old works you have and view it as a reader to see if you make those same mistakes that other writers made.
Your first though would be "that's so much work". Well either you want to be popular on wattpad or you don't. If you do want to have a successful account then you should re-read your stories and just a reader.
Get a post it note pad and write down the chapter and the mistakes you made in that given chapter. Later on when you are done reading the whole story go back and fix those mistakes you found. You ca also ask a friend to help you identify your mistakes, sometimes they notice the things you miss, maybe they have different ways for you to say certain sentences, maybe they can help you with punctuation or grammar check.
Remember this isn't to offend anyone out there. If what I am telling you offends you in any way please let me know nicely in the comments or in direct messages. My intentions aren't to offend anyone, instead my intentions are help you and to inform you so that when you write a story you won't have those comments of your readers correcting you. Even though it is nice of them to inform you when you mess up, don't be offended and take it the wrong way. Please don't be rude about your readers correcting you.
