25. Please Don't Leave Me

I'm not done editing but I just wanted to grace you with this shitty unedited chapter.

"Are you nervous?" Taylor asked, she was in my dressing room with me while Kenya was getting me ready.

"I feel like you're the one who nervous." She stopped biting her nails and apologized.

"This album is just so great and I'm so proud of you. I want this to be the best day of your life." She said.

"Thank you so much for helping me with everything, you're such an amazing friend." I told her and tears formed in her eyes. She pulled me into a hug and I heard her sniffle before she pulled away.

"You look so cute!" She squealed, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"I didn't know someone could look this good in only pajamas." Kenya said, making us all laugh. I looked in the mirror to see that Kenya kept my face as natural as possible and she only added some volume to my hair. I ended up wearing a white Chanel T-Shirt just for Zuly and black shorts.

"Cece Diaz makes the impossible, possible." Taylor winked and I rolled my eyes playfully. Harry walked in without knocking and reminded us that I had five minutes.

"I could have been changing." I told him sternly.

"And I would have been very happy." He joked. I pushed him out of the dressing room while he laughed and I turned back to see a smirking Taylor.

My legs were shaking while I stood backstage. It wasn't my first performance, but it was my first time performing all songs from my album. Leah and her dance crew were on their last song, and I was so amazed by how well they danced.

"Cecelia!" Sean yelled and was shushed by the working crew. I laughed and pulled him into a hug.

"That's not even my name." I laughed and he frowned.

"I'll find out one day."

"Sure you will." Leah and her crew finished, and I felt the nerves come back.

"Good luck." Sean said, kissing my forehead. He walked on stage and took the mic from the stand. The audience went crazy when Sean greeted them.

"Sean have sex with me!" One girl yelled and Sean only laughed.

"Maybe another day." He said making everyone laugh.

"Today is a really special day for my best friend. I've known her for four years and she's one of the most hardworking people I've ever met. She worked really hard on her album Corageous." He paused when everyone started screaming.

"She was in the studio all the time, working on her songs, trying to make them perfect for you guys and it turned out even more perfect than I could imagine." Everyone cheered again and I felt someone's arms wrap around my waist. I instantly knew it was Harry because he always seems to want to hold me in some type of way.

"Break a vocal chord." He whispered in my ear and I chuckled.

"I'll try." I joked.

"So please make some noise for the most beautiful and talented person i know, my best friend, Cece Diaz!" I walked out on stage and gave Sean a big hug, the crowd was going crazy. Sean walked off while I sat on the piano bench and started playing the intro to the first song.

I was surprised with the number of people singing the lyrics back to me. The album was only released at midnight and it was amazing how fast they memorized the songs.
