I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22. (Sorry, I had to.)
THANK YOU FOR 4.3k READS I LOVE YOU!
Dedicated to: keepdreamingofjhutch because she introduced me to the song Try, and it is the main reason why I wrote this chapter. I had writers block and that song just inspired me I guess. So thank you love!
PLEASE READ THE AUTHORS NOTE AT THE END

"Cece stop messing around and go back to the house." Zuly demanded. I had been at Taylor's house for a week trying to write the other three songs on my album. Her writing room gave off really good vibes that made it easier for me to write. I was trying to avoid Harry after what I admitted to Taylor the day of my birthday. I would occasionally call him and talk to him for about a minute but I didn't want to be near him while I figured everything out.
"I'm trying to finish writing my album. I already wrote and recorded another song in less than a week." I told her.
"Write your album at your own house. Are you trying to avoid someone?" She asked.
"No, I just find Taylor's house really comforting." I half lied. Zuly knew me, but she didn't know me well enough to know when I was lying.
"Fine. Is the song personal?" She questioned and I shook my head then realized that she couldn't see me.
"Sort of. It's based off of something I see a lot." I said and she sighed.
"Okay, finish writing the other two. Talk to the boys, they miss you." And with that she hung up.
I was struggling with writing a personal song because the only things in my life worth writing about I promised to never speak of. I wanted to write the whole album by myself and I was beginning to regret that decision. I could always write another helpful song but what would be the point? I wanted something personal that can help people, but also it would let them connect and relate to me.
My phone rang in my pocket and I groaned thinking it was Zuly, but when I saw Harry's name on my screen I panicked. I took a deep breath before answering it.
"Hey Harry."
"Cece who's Sammy?" He asked bluntly. The phone almost slipped from my hands at his question.
"Why would you ask me that?"
"Who is he? Why do you write to him?" He asked.
"You read my journal?" I asked in disbelief. He didn't reply and the phone call ended. I grabbed everything from Taylor's guest room and left her a note telling her I was leaving. She was already asleep, and I should've been too because it was eleven.
I drove to my house, trying to stay at the speed limit but also trying to get there as quickly as possible. When I got home, I slammed the door open and ran up to Sammy's room. Once inside, I saw Harry holding my journal in his hands.
"Why would you come in here when I specifically told everyone not to?" I asked loudly.
"I was curious." He said simply,
"You have no right to snoop through my things. And you have absolutely no right to read my journal. How much did you even read?" I was now yelling.
"I only read the first page. 'Why did you go Sammy?' That sentence gave me goosebumps, and I just wanted to ask you who he was." He said quietly. He stepped towards me but I held my hands up.
"Cece, who's Sammy?"
"I don't want to talk about him." I muttered.
"Cece you have to! He obviously means a lot to you if you got so upset over this. Why didn't you want us in the room? Why couldn't you just tell us why? Why-"
