I nervously paced, anxiety flooding my veins; had I made the right decision? Could I trust someone I haven't met with the security and safety of my child? Could I trust Coco's word? Should I trust Coco's word?

I shake my head and deeply breathed as I smoothed the wrinkles in the tunic I was wearing. My mouth felt dry as I began pacing, then jumping when someone knocked at my door. I scurried over like Timon the Meerkat from the Lion King and opened the door while the chain was still in place.

A young woman whom looked to be between fourteen and sixteen eaved at me from her place behind Coco. She had the same dark hair, beautiful eyes and amazing smile Coco had. I sigh in relief and smiled before I shut the door and removed the chain.

Coco and the young girl walked in, both smiling more. The girl gave me a hug, "I will do my best to keep everything the way you have it Ms. Izzy.".

Coco's face tinted a light pink and he chuckled, "Leticia, Izzy's not that much younger than I am.".

I shake my head and smile, "It's nice to meet you, Leticia. Your brother has become one of my best friends. He's gone above and beyond for myself along with my daughter.".

Leticia gave a momentary look of confusion before she smiled again and said, "He does that for those whom are near and dear to him.".

"I'll call you if we come home earlier than expected," Coco told his sister, "no boys over, respect Izzy's belongings and watch her daughter like a hawk.".

Leticia gave a nod before she went over to Joy and sat with her. The two seemed to click and my fears seemed to be alleviated as relief flooded my veins. I jumped a little when Coco placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Let's get going," Coco hummed softly, "they'll be safe.".

I give a nod, then Coco whispered, "Angel and Ezekiel are in my apartment; they'll be the ones actually watching the place.".

I smile and walk out my door, "Shall we go?".

Coco smiled at me, causing my heart to beat faster and the butterflies to be unleashed in my stomach. He lead me outside and to his bike, then he straddled the seat up front. My heart felt like it was in my ears as I straddled the back seat.

"You alright," Coco called over his shoulder as he started the bike up, "you ever ride before?".

"Once," I honestly say, "Joy's father was big on bikes and cars.".

Our conversation ended when Coco pulled out of the parking lot. I held my breath for a moment as the wind gently blew my hair around, chill bumps littering my skin as adrenaline began slipping into my system.

I softly smiled, but a little bit of shame seeped into my veins as my heart betrayed my brain. I placed my chin against Coco's right shoulder and wrapped my arms around his torso.

Not long after our drive began did it end at a quaint little café. I jumped a little when Coco placed a hand against mine. I felt him squeeze my hands in an attempt to assuage my fears.

Why do I feel like I'm betraying Jax? Would Jax forgive me?
