It was about two weeks and Maya and Josh have grown so much closer than he could ever imagine.
It was one Tuesday afternoon and Riley decided to take Maya out for a girls day.
Josh was with Auggie at Shawn's not to hang out but to ask a question."Listen guys. I'm actually here with a reason," Josh said.
"Yeah? What is it?" Shawn asked.
"I'm want to ask you guys something. I know we have barely been together for two weeks but I care a lot about Maya so... I want to ask your permission to marry her."
"That's sudden but not surprising. We've known for a long time how you guys feel. Because of that, yes. You have our permission to go ahead with asking Maya to marry you. On one condition. You treat her well and don't make her feel like a housewife," Shawn said.
"My condition as well."
"I'll never treat her like that. She is amazing and what she does is very good. I just have to ask what my family thinks and then I'm going to look for rings. I'm going to ask her tomorrow," Josh said.
"That's good."~
"What!"
Of course Josh was at his family and Riley couldn't believe what she had heard.
Marty?
They have barely dating for two weeks."In a hurry or something?" Lucas asked.
"I love her and she loves me. I knew that awhile ago. I was just scared about what Maya would actually say," Josh said.
"Well I have no objections at all," Cory said.
"Neither do I. You make that girl happy," Lucas said.
"Me and my mom feel the same. When are you asking?" Riley asked.
"Tomorrow. Going ring shopping after this and then I need your help Riley. I want to set up something special for her," Josh said.
"Sure. And I think I know what to do as well. Okay listen to this."
