Supernatural roommates

Meeting

Roman's POV:
I was only in my room for a few minutes when I heard the front door open. We all went to our rooms, so it must have been our fourth roommate. I was about to get out of my room to meet him when I heard it. His heartbeat. It was so fast. I figured that he ether ran here, got a big scare, or he's nervous. I let it be and decided to go on my phone. I can meet him tomorrow anyway, I thought.

The next day came and I don't have classes till sun down. The sun is just annoying and I would rather not deal with that, but I still left the dorm in the morning to look less weird. I put my sunglasses on my head and left my room. As I entered the living room I saw my other two roommates. "Salutations." "Hello!" They greeted. "Greetings, what are you guys up so early for?" I asked. "I have morning classes and Patton just informed me that he is simply a morning person." Logan told me. "Well...I also have morning classes, but I am a morning person!" Patton corrected. Logan kinda looked annoyed. Guess he doesn't like being corrected.

"In completely other news, did you guys hear our new roommate came in last night!" I change the subject. "Ya! I wanted to meet him, but he got into his room before I could." Patton told us. "He needed to unpack, not to mention on how late he came in," Logan informed us. "Guess your right..." Patton said, looking down. "I have some things to do, I should head out," I told them heading to the door. "till later!!!" I said putting my sunglasses on my face and heading out. "Bye!!!" "Good bye" Logan and Patton responded.

I actually don't have anything to do but get used to all the blood. I came from a small town and this college is way bigger than I'm used to. I just walked around for hours as kids headed out for class or something else.

~~~time skip to the next week cuz I'm lazy and don't want to make it seem like complete strangers know each others habits~~~

I head to the dorms and only hear one heartbeat. Patton and Logan must still be in class, I thought. The heartbeat is slow and even, whoever my roommate is must be asleep. How does his schedule work I thought to myself. But seriously, he doesn't come till late and even if you have afternoon classes you'll be up by now. IT'S ELEVEN AM?!?! I sat on the couch and turned on the tv to Disney channel. I watched about half of My Little Mermaid before Patton came back. "Heya kiddo!" "Hey Patton, wanna watch the rest of the movie with me?" "Sure thing" was all he said before sitting on the couch with me.

We had finished the whole movie when Logan entered the dorm. "Salutations" Logan said as he went to his room. "heya" "greetings" Patton and I greeted. we sat there and talked for hours, it was now 2pm, Logan ended up coming down halfway through and is reading a book in the arm chair we have. All this time and we still haven't met our roommate. I was getting a little impatient because who can keep themselves hidden for a week?!? "Where's our other-"

I was cut off by a small shadowy figure with purple hair appearing in the hallway. We entered into an awkward silence for a few seconds until Patton got up. "Hey kiddo" he said as he tried to hug our new roommate but purple hair stopped him. "I don't like physical contact" his voice was low and raspy, but at the same time soft and gentle. The way his voice was made what he said not sound rude.

"Don't worry about it kiddo" Patton said as he stepped back. Patton sat back to where he was before and purple boy sat in the other arm chair we have. He brought his knees up to his chest, wrapped his arms around them and laid his head on his arms. "So-what might your name be?" Logan started off. "Mine is Logan" "mines Patton!" "I'm Roman" we all introduced ourselves. "Virgil" was all he said in return.

"Well Virgil, why haven't we seen you till now?" I ask curiously. He just shrugged. Like,
shouldn't he know the answer?!?! "What classes do you have?" Patton asked to change the subject. "Night ones" this Virgil guy really doesn't know how to communicate, I think to myself. Before we could ask him to go into more detail he got up, went to the kitchen for a water bottle, then went to his room.

"Well- that was..." Patton started. "Interesting" Logan finished for him. They weren't wrong, it was interesting. But wether it be a good thing or a bad thing I don't know. After we just did our own thing till it started to get dark and Virgil got out of his room again. He just passed us with his hood up and earbuds in. I went to my classes as Logan and Patton went to their rooms.

I couldn't focus on any of my classes. My thoughts just kept going to the mystery that is Virgil. He is interesting. I guess I should be happy that it was the first day and all the teachers decided to go easy.
