Patton's POV:
I went to class and everything seemed fine, but when I got home it didn't feel like that. Fairy's are empaths, meaning we feel other people's feelings. Roman was like me, he felt everything passionately...though he felt more anger than me. Logan wasn't completely emotionless, he just felt very little of everything. Virgil...he felt mostly anxious and sadness. It was concerning, Logan should feel more than he does and Virgil should at least feel a little happiness.

That was usual though, but when I entered the dorm today, ALL I felt was anxiousness. I went to the living room to find Roman pacing back and forth. "Hey Roman, what's wrong?" He looked over at me with the most serious expression I have ever seen on him. "Patton, we need to talk...but ALL of us have to be here for it." I just nodded and said, "alright kiddo, I'll be in my room till Logan gets back." As I left I hear him say "ok."

~~~time skip cuz it's just Pat, Ro, and V being anxious while Logan is in class having no idea that any of this is happening~~~
This has been the LONGEST 30 minutes of my life!!! I think to myself as I make my way to the living room. Logan just came and Roman never left, making me the 3rd one to arrive. I walked over and sat on the couch next to Roman. Virgil walked out as I sat down and went to the armchair.
Roman cleared his throat, "alright...we should have a talk regarding, well ourselves." "I'm not sure what you mean," Logan asked confused. "I think he means like get to know each other?" I guessed. "Basically yes, there are certain things that we need to know about each other in order to live in the same dorm." "That...actually makes sense, what do you have in mind?" "Well-to start off with I think it would be unfair if you didn't know what I was." Me and Logan look at him questioningly, but Virgil seems to know what he's talking about.
"What do you mean kiddo?" I asked. "I-I'm not exactly human...I'm a vampire" everyone, except Virgil, looks at him in disbelief. "What do you mean vampire?" Logan questioned. "...basically what you watch or read, though I don't sparkle or burn in the sun, and I have never killed anyone and don't plan on it!" Roman clarified. I felt relieved...I knew vampires existed, but I didn't know about their life style. More so if they killed or not.
Logan got a curious, I felt it. "This might be personal, I don't exactly know vampire etiquette, but you need blood to survive right?" Roman nodded. "Where exactly do you get it? The blood I mean," Logan asked. I didn't know if that was personal either. It seems like it would be, but Roman didn't hesitate to answer. "From blood bags. My mom is a nurse and knows about me, she takes some blood bags from the hospital. Not enough so it becomes a problem, but enough so I don't have to drink from a human." He shivered and shook his head. "I hate the thought of doing that!" Roman confessed.
"That's a relief!" I say. They all look at me. "I mean it's a relief that I'm not the only non human here." I say to clarify. "Wait...Patton your not human ether!" Roman basically yells. "Yea!!! I'm a fairy!!! Not much else to say about that." I respond. "Well, it seems you guys are not the only ones either." Logan says. "I'm a witch" he finished off after seeing Roman's and I's confused look.
"FINALLY!!!"
We all look to Virgil because of his outburst. "What do you mean by that kiddo?" I ask confused. "Your all SO oblivious it actually started to hurt. You have NO idea how MANY TIMES you could have found out that no one in this dorm is human. But you just brush it off as something else and it was getting ANNOYING!" Virgil lets out with a huff. "How did you know?" I asked.
"I found out on accident on the first day, but you guys didn't help yourselves out. If you wanted to keep it a secret then Roman should have only drunken blood in his room then clean himself up after. Logan should have watched when he did his spells and where they were directed. And just because you can shrink and fly around the house doesn't mean you should have when their were people inside Patton." Virgil explained.
We all look dumbfounded at him. "How could you have found out what we were on accident? What are you?" Logan asked. Virgil visibly tensed but then he sighed and said, "you most likely wouldn't know about my kind. We're basically extinct and now rare. As for the accident, I could hear thoughts. I usually try not to but that night my phone died and I couldn't use music to overpower your thoughts. It's not my fault that you guys couldn't stop thinking about what you are."
We all nod. Poor kiddo that must be hard. I've heard how loud he has his music....all that to not read people's minds? I can't imagine that. I could tell that the others couldn't either. I felt so much curiosity and it wasn't all mine. We all wanted to know what he was, but saw how he tensed and we decided not to push it.
He gave us these necklaces that would prevent him from reading our minds. Mine was on a silver chain and had a baby blue diamond on it. Logans also had a silver chain but he had a dark blue diamond.
With that we all went to our rooms to do our own things. In the next month we all got much closer and we barely had secrets. Barely. Virgil has gotten close to us too, but he still hasn't opened up. Sometimes he would stay in his room all day and when he got out he would say he just got overwhelmed and didn't want to talk about it. We respected that and didn't ask questions...
....until he got overwhelmed outside of his room.
