Roman's POV
Wow....that was a lot. We all just stared at him wide eyed. Patton was actually in tears. "W-why would they do t-that. Aren't they supposed to be good!" Patton exclaimed. "That's actually a myth. Angels are one of the cruelest creatures you'll meet. Falling isn't fun and it hurts like hell. They'll do anything to prevent that. And the things they can't do, they'll manipulate someone else to do it." Virgil explained.

"But, aren't they supposed to be pure?" I asked. "Yes. It's messed up, but they are pure. All the bad things they do is to fallen angels or supernaturals. Supernaturals are seen as freaks of nature, no offense, and like I said...since we fell it isn't seen as bad." He said. "What about the manipulation?" Logan asked. "That's a loop hole. Find a murderer and direct his way into killing someone you want dead. That human's death was inventible and you didn't make someone a murderer. Technically, your presence did nothing so you don't fall." Virgil answered.

"Can I ask what the whole 'death is a privilege' thing was about?" Patton asked. "It might sound weird, no it sounds depressing and insane, but it is. The punishments aren't given to us by the angels. It's something we had to live with before that. Before the angels found us." He explained.

"How do the angels know that?" I asked. "Because of the way we react when they find us. The ones that deserve death were the ones that tried to escape and wanted to live. The ones that didn't were the ones that made no attempt in leaving and actually wanted to die." He answered.

Didn't he say that he didn't deserve death? Oh Virgil.....What happened to make you want to die. It seemed like all of us caught on to that, but we couldn't exactly ask. That isn't something someone can easily answer, IF they decide to answer. We're close to Virgil, we kind of have to be, but we're not that close. We want to be...I want to be, but he just needs time.

He has these walls. They keep people out and, I think, him safe. No one with walls just woke up on day and decided that they wanted them. The walls slowly build from what one experiences in their life. His...his walls are big and strong. If we want answers right now, we would have to make him. And that would destroy all of the progress we've made with him.

So we can't just ask that. In time he might tell us...open up to us more. I hope he does. But I could already tell that it's going to take time. I plan on staying long enough to see the day where that happens. And I could tell that the others have the same mind set as me. Time heals all wounds right? He needs time to heal his trust and I'm ok waiting. I want to see the day where he isn't so...I don't know the word for it. But I want him to be happy. I want to see them all happy.

Omg! I have a crush on them don't I? God, I'm such a helpless romantic. I mean, can you blame me? Patton is so innocent and adorable. Logan is so smart and hot. Virgil is so mysterious and is somehow both adorable and hot. But they wouldn't like me back. We haven't exactly talked about our sexualities and our relationship status. Patton is either straight or he's already dating someone. While Logan and Virgil need time. I don't know from what...but I know that they need it.

We were all lost in thought when Virgil snapped us out of it. "That got real depressing real fast...sorry." Why is he apologizing? "You don't need to apologize. We were the ones that wanted to know." Patton assured him. He nodded and had this sad smile on his face. It looked like he needed...or maybe wanted a hug. But before I could say or do something about it, he started talking. "I'm going to my room now." We all nodded and with that, he was gone.
