"Don't come near him or something, okay? I just need to rest now, my body hurts like hell" Samantha sighs, holding my hand.
"Yeah, I promise" I nodded and gently squeezed her hand.
"Good" she nodded.
"Hey" Corbyn's voice chirped in after the door closed.
"Hey Corbs, how's that monster doing?" Sam asked.
"His face is basically broken" he replied.

Sam and I chuckled.

"Can't believe you went full power on him" Sam said.
"I hate him with all my life. We can all literally leave this place right now and tell him to the police so his ass can be jailed" I shook my head and both of them laughed dryly.
"How about us? We can also be jailed. We're his co-workers in this stupid job" Corbyn added.
"Well damn, sucks for us" Sam huffs.
"I'll get snacks" Corbyn said.
"Okay" Sam said.

Corbyn left and closed the door.

"Finally, we're alone" Sam breathed out.
"Why, are you going to say something?" I asked.
"No, I just wanted to be with you alone" she shrugged.

I smiled.

"Are you feeling okay now?" I asked, tucking pieces of hair behind her ear.
"Kind of, my body still aches but i'll definitely be good soon" she replied.
"If you say so" I said.
I cleared my throat, "What did Derek do, exactly?" I asked.
"He used his belt and hit me every where, he even tried to take advantage of me, but luckily I screamed and I think one of you guys heard it" she replied.

Jack.

"Jack heard it" I said.
"Why did he not help me" she mumbled and I lightly chuckled.
"I know," I nodded. "He said he was scared so he ran to his room" I replied.

She chuckled.

"But still, i'm mad at him" she joked.
"Yeah, i'll talk to him" I replied and she nodded.
"You know, i'm happy you set Brooklyn free. She didn't belong here with us" I broke the silence between us.
"How about me?" she then asked.
"Here, you obviously don't. But..." I trailed.
"But?" she asked.
"But with me, you do" I winked.

She laughed.

"Okay, you got me there" she continued to laugh.
"But it wasn't a joke" I frowned but smiled forthwith.
"It was cute that it made me laugh" she replied, chuckling.
"I'm gonna sleep now" she smiled and I nodded.
"Okay, feel better" I said and she nodded with a smile.

I then left her and went downstairs.

"You both are adorable" Corbyn chuckled.
"We're good now right?" I asked him.
"Uh-huh, let's forget that ugly past" he replied.

Corbyn and I stared at each other for a while before bursting out of laughter.

"Sorry that was- I don't know what to say" he laughed, shaking his head.
"Hey do you guys have juul? Mine is already empty because of Zach" Jack rolled his eyes.

Corbyn and I chuckled.

"Yeah, I have some on our room. You can have it" I replied.
"Nice! Alright thanks" Jack jumped and ran upstairs.
"I'll go with Derek, i'll see you guys later" Corbyn smiled small and stood up before we could reply.

Jonah then motioned me to come to him.

Confused, I just obeyed him and went inside the station.

"We have the worst news yet" Jonah blurted out.
"Uh-oh, what is it this time?" I huffed.
"Brooklyn just might sell us out" he replied.

I gulped.

"There's no way she would" Jack shook his head.
"Why the heck would she do that?" Zach added.
"A real traitor" I rolled my eyes.
"I know" Jonah groaned.
"What are we going to do then?" I asked, leaning on the counter.
"I mean, I would never let any of us get jailed, not even Derek" Jonah added.
"My point" Jack agreed.
"Especially Samantha, i'd never let her get in any of our own business" I said.
