Time seemed to pass slower than usual as you absentmindedly doodled in your notebook while Present Mic continued to teach. You gave yourself a praise mentally for managing to avoid looking or even interacting with Todoroki for the whole morning. Even the thought of him caused you to slightly winced in pain as your chest tighten. You tried to think of something else to distract the pain.

Your mind wandered to the same flower shop that you stopped to take a look at this morning. You never really noticed the shop until today.

There were various kinds of flowers but nothing caught your eyes more than the lavender roses. You made a mental note to visit the shop after school. The bell rang, signalling the end of the lesson which also meant it's lunch time.

"(Y/n)! Let's go grab lunch," Ochako stood next to your table as you packed away your stuff. You gave a hum in response, taking your time in packing away your belongings nicely.

"How are you feeling, (Y/n)?"

"I'm alright," You replied automatically, "Why do you asked, Izuku?"

"Ah nothing! I just saw you were a bit pale and look really tired for the past few days," the green haired boy rambled, "I'm really sorry if I offended you but I was jus-"

"It's okay Izuku," You cut his rambling, "I'm just a bit stressed because of the exam. Thanks for asking though," You added to make your lie more convincing.

"It's okay. It's okay!" Izuku blushed.

"Where's Iida?"

"He already went to the cafeteria to save us some seats," Ochako answered as all three of you walked. When the three of you arrived at the cafeteria you saw Iida waved from a table near a wall at a corner. You waved slightly as a response and smiled as your group walked to the table.

"Thanks Iida for saving us seat," You said the moment you arrived, "Sorry for taking so long in packing up."

"Your welcome! I already grabbed my lunch so you guys go and grab your food," Iida mentioned towards his lunch, "I heard from Todoroki that today's cold soba is really good!"

Your breath hitched, "Thanks Iida, I will have a look at it," You commented dryly. "Let's go Ochako, Izuku." You swiftly grabbed Ochako's hand and dragged her towards the line hastily, leaving Izuku to catch up to you two.

Ochako looked at you strangely. Your behaviour was certainly unusual but she shook it off thinking that you are very hungry and can't wait to get your food. Izuku caught up with you and Ochako and lined up behind her.

"Have you seen Todoroki?" Izuku asked Ochako, "I thought he will eat lunch with us?

You eavesdropped to the conversation.

"Before we left I saw him talking with Yaoyorozu, I think he will come later."

You bit your lips. A poor attempt at trying to stop the pain. Pretending to look at today's new menu and prices, you continued to listen to the conversation.

"I think they were planning to meet up somewhere after school," Ochako added.

"Where?"

You blurted out. You bit your lips and mentally gave a slap to yourself for your slip up. You took a deep breath before you turned around with a smile on your face, a glint of curiosity in your eyes. Perfectly hidden away the pain from your face.

Ochako and Izuku paused their conversation and looked at you. Izuku, being a smart boy he is, noticed that something must be going on from the way you clenched the hem of your skirt, a slight stain in your voice and your smile that never reached your eyes.

On the other hand, Ochako didn't pick up any of these, "I'm not too sure, maybe at a cafe or her house? That's what I heard before I asked him to eat lunch with us."

Izuku stared at you which you noticed. You bit your lips once more. To make your acting more convincing to Izuku, you took another step in trying to convince him.

Your next move can be basically described as suicidal.

"They are quite a pair aren't they? I wonder if something is going on between the two of them."

At that moment, you knew you fucked up.
