Megan's P.O.V.

"Hey, How was your first day at school?" Mom asked

"I don't want to talk about because I skipped. I'm sorry. I don't mean to do it again, I pleaded," Could you forgive me?"

She shifted awkwardly for some reason. She only does it when you caught her off guard when she has some good news, or at least good news for her.

"Well, Do you know that guy I like that live down the street?" She had this little flicker in her eyes.

"Yea"

"Well. He asked me out!"

I hugged her,"Good for you mom."

I walked up to bed trying to realize what just happened in the last day or so. Maybe I should say like the past year but that would take forever. At Least I think it would.

I called up Natalie to see how her parents took the news of her skipping but, nobody answered. This is normal though, usually they are doing something so they can't answer the phone.  I don't care though.

Why did I change myself? Why do I act like there are rules for what I, Supposedly, am. I could still be a cheerleader but, I changed. The way I am is for the better right?

I started to think everyone has something good for them mom has a new boyfriend, Natalie has her family, Aaron has his innocence, but what do I have?

I went to the store and got the blonde hair color I used to have so I could dye my hair. I got Natalie her original hair color. I called her so she could help me.

"Wow, you really did look better as a blonde," Nat said.

"Yeah, well thanks. Want me to do yours?"

"Sure," Nat handed me the dye and I started dyeing her hair. Her hair went from having purple highlights to having absolutely none.

She went to the mirror," You know what? I'm not changing myself anymore! I'm going to be who I want to be!"

"You go girl!" I screamed.

Natalie called her mom to see if she could stay but, she couldn't. When she left I pulled my hair up got into bed. What I dreamt the night was something I haven't dreamt in a long time.
