Natalie P.O.V.

It has been a month since I’ve been home. During that month I did really absolute nothing. My mom and dad has been iffy about me being alone so, when they have to leave they make sure Megan is there with me. Which is pretty cool since we live together.

“NATALIE!!!! WHERE ARE YOU?” Megan screamed.

“Up your butt around the corner,” I said just as she walked into my room wearing the most beautiful outfit she has ever worn.

“Your mom hates me! She thinks since my 16th birthday is this weekend, we just need to have a party,” Megan moved her arms around everywhere to make her point.

“Our birthday and you look beautiful, I put my arms up in surrender,” And I am not joking.”

Megan had a beautiful dress on. It was a teal blue, one shouldered, goes to her knees to show off her legs, and it has a tiny amount of sequins. I picked out the dress because I knew how she would react, this is exactly how I expected. She gets to pick out my dress tonight. Mom is taking her shopping and dad is taking me out for a movie and then we will all meet up for dinner.

Megan walked up to me and gave me a hug, “You are right but you are going to love my dress that I will pick out.”

I rolled my eyes,”Eh, whatever.”

Megan looked at me with her wide eyes and asked,” You know how we yelled incest was gross that one time? I told you we were sisters but, no we aren’t. Your parents just took me in till I turn eighteen or till my family takes me in.”

So, what you are saying is that we aren’t sisters? That we could do all kinds of stuff like for real? I don’t just love you as a sister or a friend but I love you as a lover.

I ignored what I just said and kissed her on the cheek.

“Are you mad that I lied? I’m sorry I really am. I just waited till you were ready”, Megan pleaded.

“Meg, I’m not mad. Just come in here tonight when everyone is asleep so we could talk.”

She smiled and left.
