"Wake up!" A man's voice said close to me.
I quickly sat up and located the voice. It was the Indian who understood English.
I looked over at John and shook him until he woke up. He groaned and sat up looking better than he did yesterday.
"Hey sunshine." He told me smiling.
I smiled and said ,"Hey."
"Shut up! Let's get going " The English Indian said.
I stood and helped John up. The Indians, John, and I moved out farther toward their place. I wish I was at home in my soft bed. The only good thing that happened on this trip was finding John.
"Can't wait to get back to our tribe. When we get there, we'll have a celebration for your death." The English Indian said smiling.
Before we have set out toward their tribe, a Indian has tied John and I's hands together. Now the English indian, who was on a horse, held the rope that bounded John and I.
He pulled on the rope making me stagger forward a little.
"My bad." The English Indian said.
After traveling about two hours, the Indians settled down for a rest. After taking a sup of water, I turned around to face John.
" I came up with a plan. While the Indians are sleeping, you and I will escape." I said
"How could we? We'd be bound." He said holding up his tied hands.
"That's why I got this." I said pulling up my shirt a little to reveal a knife in my pocket.
"Ms. May, you are very clever." John said smiling.
"Yes I am." I said smiling back.

After the Indians have gone to sleep, John and I were attempting our escape. I pulled the knife out of my pocket and sliced through John's ropes.
After I did his, he helped me.
We slowly and gently went to the horses and untied them as well. John and I hopped onto the horses and rode off to the direction we came from.
"God, thank you for everything." I said smiling. The warm air blew in my face as I escaped hell.
The sun rose and rose, until I knew for sure that it was around 12am.
No sounds of howling Indians or stomping horses came as John and I saw out in the distance, a small wooden cabin that was beaten down from the sun.
"May, look...A cabin" He said with the lack of water for a few hours. The sun is at least at 80 degrees.
" Yea... I see it too." I said swaying off the horse a little.
John reached and grabbed me, holding me upright. I began to see three suns. My tongue felt dry and my throat felt parched and sore.
"We need to find water... can you walk?" He asked getting off the horse and helping me down.
"Yes... I can." I said and we set out toward the cabin with John supporting me.
