It was the evening before Halloween, andThomas, Joan, and Talyn were walking in the woods, towards the old mansion Thomas' family owned. The place hadn't been used in years, but there was going to be a large family gathering soon, so it needed to be spruced up a bit. Joan thought this could be a good chance to go monster hunting. "An old mansion in the middle of the forest? How can there not be ghosts?!" they had said. Thomas was beginning to regret the decision to bring them and Talyn along.

Once the trio got to the mansion, Thomas realized how right Joan might've been. The place was more like a miniature castle then a mansion, and it was certainly old. The garden (was that a garden?) was slightly overgrown, but seemed to be well cared for... And the gates creaked when homas pushed them open. "My parents gave me the keys, but I'm not sure about this."

"Come on Thomas! Let's go in!" Joan said, leading the way. Talyn sighed.

"They're right, we can't just stay out here all night and get eaten by wolves." Talyn followed Joan towards the door of the actual house.

"Wait, wolves??" Thomas walked after his friends, concerned.

The inside of the mansion was rather nice and well kempt. A bit dusty, but still in decent condition. The trio of friends looked around and found a kitchen.

"There's not going to be any edible food in there. We should just order something," Joan suggested.

"Who's gonna deliver all the way out here?"

"I dunno, but they'd be crazy."

"So you're saying we're crazy?"

"Are we not?"

"What time even is it?"

"That made no sense, Thomas."

"Whatever."

"It's about eight o'clock," Joan said, looking at their watch.

"Let's order food and turn in for the night," Thomas said, the two others nodding.

"Yeah... And maybe see if this place has WiFi." The Trio walked down the halls, trying to find were the rooms are.

Patton

There were three humans here! How exciting!! I flew through the walls until I got to Virgil's room, where he and Dolos were playing cards. "Guys! Guys Guys!!!"

"Yeah, Pat?" Dolos asked, placing down a set of three's.

"I just saw some humans!"

"Where?" Virgil said, nonchalantly drawing a card. I smiled wider.

"Here!! In the mansion!! I don't know why they're here but-" Virgil and Dolos simultaniously dropped their cards, shocked and worried it looked like. "What? What did I say?"

"Here?! Like, at this mansion, here?!"

"D- did I do something wrong...?"

"No, Pat, it's just that, not everybody has forgotten the shitty people in their lives," Virgil said, rubbing his hands over his face and smearing his eyeshadow. I shrugged.
