Keith wasn't sure why he was invited to this party. He wasn't sure how Lance had convinced himm to go. It wasn't too late! He could still turn back-
"KEITH!" Lance opened the front door and slung his arm around keith. "I missed you Mullet! Come in, I'll introduce you to everyone!"
Welp, it was too late now. After Lance introduced Keith to the people he didn't know, the group (consisting of Pidge, Hunk, Allura, Matt, Lotor, and the other two) began to play truth or dare. Keith, being the socially awkward but adorable (in Lance's vision anyway) teenager he was, wasn't sure what to expect.
The game ran smoothly until it was Pidge's turn to ask somebody. Pidge looked around the room, scanning everyone. She zeroed in on Allura. "Allura, truth or dare?" she asked, smirking slightly. Allura thought a moment.
"Um... Truth?"
"Okay.... Hm. Human or fae?"
"W- what?!" Allura said, confused. "I'm not sure I know what you mean."
"Oh, that'sfair, I didn't word the question in a clear or explicit manner. Are you human or fae? Like, are you secretly some sort of mystical creature?"
"...Do I have to answer?"
"Come on! How about, everyone says if they're magical or human!" Pidge said. Everybody didn't respond. Pidge rolled her eyes. "Alright, everybody raise their hand if they're human!" Hunk, Pidge, and Matt raised their hands.
Everyone else was mumbling about their non-human herritage. "How are we the only humans?" Matt asked no one in particular.
"More importantly, how are we sure no one's lying about being human?"
"Wait, we could have done that?!" Lance asked.
"It's Truth or Dare. Lying's against the rules, so no."
"Aw dammit!"
Keith chuckled. "Don't worry, Sharpshooter, rules were made to be broken! Like the laws of physics!"
"Oh shut up Mullet," Lance said, teasing his boyfriend with a smile on his face.
"Wait, so what is everybody?!" Pidge asked.
"Alien," Lotor said.
"Alien," Keith nodded nodded in agreement thoughtfully.
"Pixie," Allura admitted sheepishly.
"Kelpie," Lance shrugged. "Not as cool as the others."
Hunk, Pidge, and Matt now were intrigued, smiling darkly. "Oh this is gonna be fun."
"What do you mean by that?!" Lance asked, worried. Keith sighed.
"And you wonder why I never wanna go to parties."
