Chapter 11: Wrong Expectations

Kyoka's Pov

We were done eating breakfast, and I guess this is the time to tell Denki what I really feel for him.

I went back to our tent and opened my bag, I took out mg phone and texted my mother about what happened yesterday, of course she was worried, but I told her to relax since I'm totally fine.

I went back outside and saw Koji standing outside.

"Hey Koji, what's up?" I asked.

"Hope you get to tell Denki properly." He said.

I was confused then I remembered that I will tell him what I feel too.

I nodded to him.

I went to my friends and asked if I were ok to tell him now.

"You should totally go for it." Yaomomo said.

The others nodded.

I took a deep breath and imagined me telling Denki.

"I can do this thing too!"

Denki's Pov

I looked for Kyoka anywhere but couldn't find her, I wonder where she went.

I asked the girls just in case they know where she is.

They also didn't know, so I just sat down on a bench.

"Still waiting for her answer, I hope my theory is right."

I stood up and walked to our tent.

What I saw broke my heart.

She was with Koji.

"I knew it." I said quietly as I walked away sadly.

I'm pretty sure Hanta saw me walking away sadly.

"Oi Denki, what happened?" Hanta asked.

"Kyoka's with Koji." I said sadly.

"Well, she's been really close to him, but I really think he likes you, not Koji."

"What about Yaomomo then?" I asked.

"Oh, you're right." Hanta said.

"Hey, what's happening?" Eijiro asked as he walked over to us.

"Well, Denki here saw Kyoka with Koji and got sad basically." Hanta explained.

"Oh, I'm still sure she likes you." Eijiro said while smiling brightly.

I smiled back but remembered what I saw.

I sighed deeply.

We talked there for a while until we heard a familliar voice.

"Denki!"

We all look at the direction where we heard the voice.

Eijiro looked at me and smiled.

"Looks like me and Hanta have to go." Eijiro said as he stood up with Hanta and left.

Kyoka's Pov

I looked for Denki everywhere, it took me some time to find him.

He was talking with Eijiro and Hanta.

"Denki!" I called for him.

Eijiro and Hanta left after I said that.

"Hey Kyoka." Denki said with a smile.

"Aww, too cute." I thought as I smiled.

"What are you talking about with Hanta and Eijiro?" I asked, I was curious about it.

"Oh, it's nothing." The smile disappeared in his face.

"Hey Denki, is everything alright?" I asked as I sat beside him.

"Do you like Koji or Yaomomo?" He asked.

I froze, of course I don't.

"Of course not, I only like one person. You know him pretty much." I said.

He had his mouth opened.

"So I was wrong?" He asked.

I gave him a nod.

"I only like that person that sits behind Mashirao, he sits beside me too. He has a blond hair, yes he's an idiot but he's cute, his quirk is electrification." I said as I smiled, yes I risked it.

Denki's eyes widened after I said those descriptions.

"Wow." He said quietly.

"Now don't be sad, Denki." I said.

He smiled and hugged me, I hugged back of course.

"I just come to think of it, why don't we just get along? Why don't we just become together? Why do we even have to face these chalenges before we get to tell each other?" Denki said.

"I don't really know why." I replied.

We then let go of each others arms and smiled.

"Hey lovebirds, come here!" Mina said.

Me and Denki stood up, we were afraid that Mina saw us but we didn't care anymore.

Denki's Pov

We both went there and saw the class gathered up together with Mr. Aizawa.

"We'll be going home tomorrow, it's sad to say this but we really have to, it may be dangerous if we stay here any longer, all we have to do is to leave and go back to UA." Aizawa said.

The class wasn't very happy with that, but some understands the reason why.

So today, we started packing.

I packed my stuff together with Kyoka.

"I'm very happy to know that you like me Kyoka." I said.

"Aww, same actually." She replied.

"Wait, really?" I looked at her and raised my eyebrow.

"Yeah." She said as she laughed.

"Woah, didn't know about that."

"But you like teasing me tho." I said.

"I don't know, I just like it." She said.

We both laughed.

"But hey, can we talk later Kyoka?" I asked.

She looked at me.

"Sure."
