"Next Sunday Valkrum"

~Enki's POV~

I watch her turn her back on me, walk forward a few steps and then she starts running, her long hair flying like a flag behind her. After a few seconds, she's teleported away. I sigh before walking back inside, pulling my relic out and looking at it. I step inside.

~No One's POV~

Travis doesn't turn around when Enki approaches him from behind, he doesn't even seem to acknowledge he's there. All he could see was Katelyn the night before he gave her the relic, the trust in her eyes as he tricks her ... Oh, why did fate have to be so unfair to him. Why couldn't he have her. Just for one more night.

"Travis." His voice echoes through the empty abyss that is the Keeper's relic, bouncing off the walls into his ears, but once again, he makes no realisation that he is stood behind him. Caught up in his fantasy of what he could do if he wasn't cursed with this sorry fate. But he couldn't do anything about it at all ... all he can do is sit here and wait till the day he dies. That's always how it works ... he would've died either way, so I guess being alive and the image of Katelyn can taunt him until his deathbed. That works.

"Travis." There the voice goes again. This time he decides to respond to him.

"What do you want Enki." His voice is distant and cold, hallow even. He's had enough of Enki's shit, but there's nothing he can do. He can't help he was born a descendant of the Keeper. Neither can Katelyn ... but that doesn't mater anymore. He'll never see her again.

"I have arranged for you to meet with Katelyn next Sunday. Which is a few days away." Travis whips around and stares at him, his eyes alive and burning with anger.

"I don't appreciate you joking with me Enki."

"I am not. I'm speaking the honest truth Travis." He says, his voice very calm even though Travis looks like he's about to run a dagger through him. "Me and Menphia arranged it."

"And why would that bloodthirsty bitch decide to be kind for once!" He yells back at him, his hands shaking as he itches to grab his blade, but knows as he can't ... Enki rolls his eyes and sighs.

"I just came here to tell you. You decide if it's true Travis." And with that he vanishes from the relic, leaving Travis is a room full of his thoughts, images of Katelyn teasing him.  Her words haunting him ... for the next 6 days.

~Katelyn's POV~ (Sunday)

A white cloud covers my eyes as I step into Enki's relic. It seems like decades since I last saw Travis, and honestly I'm quite scared. Stepping into the white abyss of the relic, the first thing I hear is "Go away Enki!" He screams, before turning around, spotting me. He collapses to his knees, lowering his head to the floor. I slowly approach him.

"Travis?" I say, cautiously putting a hand on his shoulder as I kneel down to his level, looking at him, concern etched onto my face. He doesn't answer, just stares at the floor, shaking slightly. "Hey ... Please?" I ask him, meaning please talk to me ... accept me ... just anything. Let me know that this doesn't change anything.

"K-... Katelyn." He says, looking up at me, his face a mask of what he's truly feeling. He smiles at me and crosses his legs, sitting down and pulling me down with him. I smile back at him, slightly uncertain at his sudden change in mood, but I decide to go along with it anyways, as he seems to be happier. "How's this week gone for you .. ?" He asks me, tilting his head slightly.

"It's been alright. I found I could change the image of the inside of my relic to make it have furniture in it and stuff, so I made a massive dream room for myself." I say, smiling lightly, trying to reassure him I've been alright. To be honest, Menphia has a lot of breakdowns ... and I mean a lot. She also has major anger issues, which means she often swaps with me so she can do whatever she does in her relic to calm down. But I don't mind because it means I get to go out. But it's also random, even though I can see and hear everything she's doing, but she's like ... really happy at one point then super sad the next second. I know she's kind of still a teenager, but it's a bit weird.

"That's good. I can do it to. See?" He says, muttering something before the image changes to a room with a fireplace with sofa's, kind of like a living room. I smile and stand up, perching on the edge of a sofa, as he sits on one opposite me.

"What about you?" I ask, looking at him, tilting my head slightly as I decide to lie down on the sofa, suddenly very tired. Damn, relic travelling takes a lot out of you.

"It's been fine." He says, abnormally cheerily.

"That's good ..." I reply softly, and the conversation ends just like that. We sit in silence for a while, and you can literally feel the awkwardness of the room, before Travis says.

"Katelyn ... I'm Sorry."
