"My name is Travis. It's a pleasure to meet you too Lucinda." I say, smiling back as I walk off, searching for Katelyn. I stop at a few other stalls on the way, and then after I search for another 10 minutes, I decide to use my magic to find her. "Aha." I whisper to myself, walking in the direction of her aura.

~Katelyn's POV~

I walk around the market holding the money Travis gave me. It was 30 gold ingots and 10 iron ingots. I could buy a lot with this type of money.

I start by browsing all the bookstalls they have, looking at fairy tails and fiction books, but I've read them all before so I don't bother to buy anything. I then move onto jewellery stalls, buying myself a necklace that has a black dreamcatcher kind of pendant on it and a little bracelet that cost me 5 gold ingots and 2 iron ingots all together since the stall owner seemed to like lowering the prices for girls. What a weirdo.
I then look at weapons. Different swords, bows, and arrows. All these different jewelled out scabbards that are way out of my price range but I still want to look at them anyways, that's when I feel two pairs of hands cover my eyes. I almost scream but then I hear ...

"Guess who Blueberry" I can almost hear the smirk in his voice. I let out a sigh of pure relief, lowering the hand I was about to punch him with.

"Travis. Let me go." I say, waiting for him to pull his hands away. He doesn't. "Do I have to repeat myself ..?" My tone gets more colder, a warning tone to it as I speak and he pulls away.

"I was only playing with you Blueberry, don't worry" He smiles and I sigh softly, looking away from the stall. I notice his bag is completely full.

"How much did you buy Travis ..?" I exclaim, I'm surprised he bought anything at all.

"Enough to keep me and my potion bottle storage in comfort for the rest of our days." He smiles and starts to head out of the market, walking back to the mountains. I follow suite. I think while I'm walking, twirling my hair around my finger to stop me from drifting into a daydream like I always do when I'm not doing anything physically or mentally challenging. It doesn't work. I space out and when I come to terms again we're back in the library and I'm laid on the bed in the corner. Travis is leaning over me, waving a hand across my face, obviously messing with me.

"What are you doing ..?" I say, blinking as I sit up. It feels like a ton of bricks has hit my head; I have a pounding headache.

"You stopped blinking for ages. It was freaking me out so I got you back as soon as I could. I tried relaxants and stuff but it didn't work. Sorry." He says as sits next to me on the floor.

"Oh ... I was day dreaming then. It happens a lot." I sigh and stand up, looking around and leaning against the bedframe. I notice that my bag is open and a photo is laid on top of it. I get up and walk over to it. I pick the photo up slowly and I look at it. It's him with a raven haired girl, I frown and look at the girl.

Large amber eyes that sparkle as they pose for the photo, supposedly using magic because there's no way to do this in this time. She has raven black hair that's pulled into a high ponytail, and she's wearing a purple top. Travis looks a lot younger in this than he does now, so I'm estimating it was took quite a few years ago.

The next thing I know his hand has grabbed mine as he takes the photo away from me, his face was showing the expression of being flustered as his cheeks where tinted slightly pink.

"Y-..You weren't meant to see that Katelyn" he says to me, his eyes widening every second as he looks at the photo.

"Why not?" I ask, tilting my head slightly as I turn to him, deciding not to tease him about this ... yet. "It's just a photo of you when you where younger" I pick up my bag, putting it on my shoulder, then I sigh. "I'm going to my-...the guest room. I'll see you later. Thanks for the trip out Travis" I smile and walk out, walking down the hall to my room, opening the door.

~Midnight~

I hear something. A crash coming from the corridor. I wait for a minute and I slowly get up, walking out of my room just to see Travis sneaking down the corridor. I follow him silently and quickly, stopping when he stops. He digs a knife into his palm, drawing blood and I wince, forcing myself not to shut my eyes. He spreads the blood on the wall and the wall vanishes. He walks inside and I quickly follow.

The room I blindly stumble into is massive. There's glass cases the size of an average human set on podiums, that have strange mementos in them, some not seeming to be his belongings. There's six of these cases. I don't connect the dots quickly enough until I hide behind one of the bookcases opposite and I see the labels on each one.

The first one says Lady Irene. It has a simple sword inside, but one I would die for. The sword was a white blade (which means the purest form of diamond) and had a gold and silver encrusted handle, a red bandana tied to the top of the handle. A mini glass case lays next to the sword, holding nothing. On top of the sword - along with the bandana - there is a golden leaf head crown, which Lady Irene wore I assume. It glints in the faint light of Travis' candle as he walks past.

The second one says Shad the Destroyer. This one has armour in it. This armour is not what I would have expected to say the least. It is a fairly normal silver plate type, severely worn down and very used. It has a thick cloak (also very worn out) attached to the back. And this came a long with the same mini glass case with a piece of a crystal in it, which I assume is the relic. This one seems to suck in all the light given off by Travis' candle, leaving the room in a void like trance for a matter of seconds.

The third one says Esmund the Protector. It has a golden shield, golden armour and the mini glass case has his relic inside. This armour seems to give off light, and it's hardly got a dent in it. And the same goes for the shield. They're practically in perfect condition. The whole case shines as he passes it, making the whole entire room seem to glow a bright gold for a second.

The fourth one says Enki the Keeper - Travis' one essentially. This case has nothing but a well read book on a plinth inside of it, the pages open on some sort of picture. The mini glass case is empty, but as he passes it all the books in the room seem to come alive in excitement, their pages fluttering at the sound of him walking by.

The fifth one says Kul'zak the Wanderer. This one has about 7 massive scrolls in a barrel inside, along with a helmet and a sword. The scrolls are brown at the tips, and look practically ancient. The relic seems to have gone. Nothing happens as Travis walks past it, he just looks at it for a second and sighs softly. So softly I almost cannot hear it.

The last one he stops at. This one is labelled Menphia the Fury. This one has nothing inside of it apart from a simple necklace with a purple dragon pendant hanging off of it. As the candle light illuminates the case, this dragon seems to come alive in the light of the fire from his candle, before settling back down on the jewel he was meant to be on. The mini glass case also has the relic inside. A purple, red, yellow, and orange relic who's swirling colours gave the illusion of a powerful fire. The dragon necklace then seems to glow with the heat of a fire, melting the glass in front of him, but only for it to seal when he reaches out and touches it.

He opens this case slowly and takes the relic out, examining it and muttering to himself as he turns it around in his hands. It flashes bright purple as he mutters, and from where I am it seems like they're having a conversation. Of course, I'm confused. So I edge closer, being careful t not be seen. That's when he looks up, I hold my breath in but he's not looking at me at all, he's staring at the book case. I very nearly gasp when I see his eyes though. They're not green anymore. They're a pure silver, glittering in the pure candle light.

He stares at the case and slowly makes his way to it, opening a book he grabs from it and looks at it, sighing softly.

"I promise ... I'll get you out of there"
