The two couples became well known throughout the school. Vanessa backed off Logan but still made the occasional comment. Whilst Roman wouldn't shut up about Virgil and called him every time he got a break from his work. The couples were inseparable.

'Where's Logan?'
'Where's Patton?'

'Where's Virgil?'
'Where's Roman?'

Those were the phrases they lived by until someone took those phrases to heart.

Patton (pov)

I was walking around school as usual Logan on my arm. As we made our way to science. Although I'm bad at it science is my favourite class. After all it's where I first met Logan. Speaking of we've been dating for a month now and it's been the best month of my life I really love him though neither of us have said it yet. "You ok?" I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Logan taking away my stick from me and sitting me down. "Yea just thinking." I say half dreamily. "Just thinking? Care to elaborate?" He says taking the seat next to me. "Maybe~" I say in a teasing tone. He chuckles slightly as he hands me my book.  "Whatever you say." I think I'm going to enjoy today.

I was standing outside of math like I usually do waiting for Logan to take me to lunch. That's when I feel his arm loop with mine. "What took you so long!" I say jokingly kissing his cheek. "Apologies, I had to deal with something." His voice sounded slightly different though. "Are you sick? You sound different." There was a pause for a moment "Afraid so. My voice is slightly raspy." I give him a small hug "Don't worry I'll get you some medicine." He chuckles but it sounds darker I can't quit pinpoint it. We start walking nonetheless as I start talking about the newest film I watched as he hums along to what I was saying. But suddenly I feel cool air. "Are we outside?" I ask as I drag my walking stick across the ground to feel something soft. Must be grass. "Logie why are we outside?" I ask getting a bit concerned. "Because out here your precious Logie can't get you." My eyes widen as I try to pull away from the person who has a brutal grip on my arm. He kicks out the walking stick from my hand and pushes me up against a wall. "Help!" He gags me with my own hoodie that was around my shoulders as he holds my hands either side my head. "Listen and listen well, we are a happy go looky couple walking down the street say one word." He chuckles darkly. "Then pay the price." I nod as tears form in my eyes. He slowly lets go of my hands and un gags me. He loops our arms together and we start walking. I'm blinking furiously trying to keep back the tears as I have to follow the man. When suddenly, we come to a busy road. Cars blare past me every second as I start to shake. "Don't worry baby I got you." I gulp dryly as he starts walking again. It's terrifying but I can vividly remember the accident that made me like this my screaming mother and father, Virgil wrapping himself around me in order to protect me as our car crashed. Now once again I'm in the middle of blaring cats "Come on baby you'll be fine." The boy pets my hair and I resist the urge to shiver his voice is nothing like Logan's. Not calming nor comforting. We finally make it to the other side of the road. "Now was that so hard kitten." This time I give up on not shivering. "You sick bastard." That only earns me a laugh as we continue walking but I feel someone staring so I stop. "What are you doing?" He says in a strained voice. "LOGAN!" I yell at the top of my lungs. "PATTON?!" I knew it! Logan was watching us! "LO~" I feel something hit the back of my head as I collapse. "Night kitten."
