Note: This happens just before chapter 16 and I'm not declaring it a full chapter so that's why it's 15.5.
A shrill ring of a phone emanated around Izuku's room, mid-way through tying his tie, he picked it up with his free hand and slid it under his chin so he could continue getting dressed for school,
"Moshi Moshi?" He answered, maybe it was Sho...but then he heard it...a loud, booming yet sinister voice from the other end of the receiver.
"Izuku Midoriya is it?" You could almost feel the malicious intent through the speaker.
"Y-yes..." He answered hesitantly, this was Endeavour, Sho's father...a slight chuckle could be heard.
"Don't sound so surprised...I've heard a lot about you..." He said this despite his lip curling up at the thought of his confusion. Izuku scrambled around his mind...how...Sho would never say anything...he felt himself tearing up once more, in anger and confusion.
"I've heard a lot about you too." He finally spoke up, voice wavering a little despite him trying to sound confident.
"Oh really? What has 'Sho' been trying to convince you of about me? Izu?" At this Izuku started crying, shaking in anger,
"YOU KNOW FULL WELL!" With this, he slammed his hand down on his bedside table, sending a glass figurine of All Might smashing into pieces on this floor, broken, like his thoughts. He turned around suddenly to see his mother, green hair messy around her face, carrying a worried expression. She'd got back just after Sho left the day before.
"Izuku, a-are you okay? I just heard you shouting and I came to see what's wrong!" Izu shook his head and went to put the phone down, the last thing he heard from Endeavour being, 'If you know full well, why aren't you over here protecting him?'.
"Sorry mum, I'll clean it up later, I'll be late for school if I don't leave now!" With that, his mother smiled.
"O-okay, just know I'm here if you want to talk about anything." She moved aside to let him past her as he ran quickly down the stairs, mind filled with worry. He needed to get over there. He needed to save Sho. He ran out of the door and started making his way over to Todoroki's house.
