My Mission (Todoroki x Deku)

Chapter 25

They rushed out of the school, Bakugo grabbing Midoriya's sleeve as they exited the school building. Bakugo frantically looked around as they started on the dull track to Todoroki's house. Midoriya's head was spinning, spinning, spinning, as he ran alongside Bakugo, breathing erratic. Why? Why? Why? Why would he do this? His heart broke into tiny little splinters and were piercing his body as he ran. He needed to save him. He needed to. He couldnt bare the thought of him being gone... forever. Forever.

They walked down the narrow little alleyway, feet softly stepping on the pavement underneath them as their fingers intertwined with one another. The umbrella firmly secured in his other hand. The rain poured down the canvas as they kept each other warm from the cold. Todoroki smiled at him, "I love you."

He kept running. However long it took. He couldn't... He couldn't. He couldn't let this happen. His mind searched for answers as he blamed himself profusely. He should've protected him better. He should've held onto him tighter. He should've offered his shoulder. They reached the turning to his house and darted down the road.. Before they saw it.

Flames.

Ash spiraled into the sky as they approached the Todoroki residence. It had been unoccupied since the kidnapping incident and here it was..up in flames.
"'Sho..." A tear fell down his cheeks and he stopped.
"What are you doing Deku?!" Bakugo spat at him, as he didn't stop for even a second. He was still running. Running towards the inferno. Running towards Shoto to save him.

People gathered around the house and watched as it burned, some were frantically on their phones, calling the fire brigade. Some were crying, and some were gossiping about what happened.
"I heard that Todoroki kid burned it down."
"Really? What did he think he was doing?" The blonde haired male pushed past the crowds as Midoriya caught up with him, his face red.
"We're going in, okay Deku?" He panted as he turned to face him. Midoriya nodded solemnly as they ran up to the door with their body, and knocked it down. It slammed off it's hinges and to the ground as broken speckles of glass littered the floor. Some people tried to go after them but they continued.

The house was burning around them as they rushed through the corridors, pieces of wood falling all around them as their footsteps sounded on the floor.

Shoto. Shoto. Shoto. Please... don't die. I need... I need you!

They continued until they reached another door, the door they broke down when Deku got kidnapped. It was still slightly hanging off it's frame as they stepped inside.
"Stop!" Somebody ordered as they looked up. It was him. He stood there, his arm shaking, a gun in his left hand. Tears frantically fell down his face as the flames grew higher... The smoke was almost unbearable. "Stop!"
"S-Sho please..don't do this!" Midoriya called out, trying to cover his mouth as the air choked him.

He suddenly pointed the gun at them. "Stop it! Please just leave me alone!" His voice wavered as he shouted at them above the noise of things breaking. "Why are you here?! Just leave me be!" He kept shouting as the green haired boy slowly approached him.
"I d-don't want you to do this. You're loved by many. Everything will be okay if you just put the gun down and we get out of here... please... we don't have much time.." He pleaded with him as Bakugo started,
"Fucking Half n' half! If we don't get out of here, all of us will die! Now put the fucking gun down and think about what you're doing!" His arm held it's place as the barrel of the weapon pointed in Midoriya's direction. "Todoroki!" Bakugo kept shouting, but to no avail. Fear was plastered within Todoroki's eyes, as they shone wet from the tears.
"Get away from me!" He continued shouting as Midoriya walked ever closer.
"C-come on Sho!" He said to him and Todoroki visibly tensed.
"Don't call me that." He looked at him, with wet eyes, and smiled for a brief second. He turned the gun on himself, as Midoriya scrambled to reach him.

Bang.

It was all over. 

--By the way there is still an epilogue after this, but this is the last actual chapter eeeee
