Soon after, the younger fell asleep while watching. Chan can't help but feel sad how Jeongin still not adapting well with his new surroundings. It made the older feel like it's his duty now to keep Jeongin's company and help him through everything.

Jeongin's head kept getting lower and lower, till he rested it on Chan's shoulder. The younger was absolutely not aware of it, Chan could tell he was in a deep sleep due to the lack of it.

Chan is more worried about Jeongin's sleep than his own. He should be looking after himself as well, but he can't help but to put others before himself. He knows how it sucked when he first got here as a freshman who just came from Australia and how lonely and out of place he felt. He found it hard to make friends at first but he managed to make amazing ones along the way. But Chan was more of a secretive person to his friends. He doesn't wanna burden them with his own mess, he believes he can sort his own mess on his own, yet he always want his friends to share all their struggles with him and help them through them.

Chan was a complexed person, he was aware. He doesn't know how this all started, but he can't seem to open up too much to anyone anymore.

After all that thinking, Chan only found himself falling asleep while his head is resting above the younger's. Sleep has finally taken over his body and he went to dreamland.

~~

Jeongin woke up to the feeling of a soft and warm yet hard mattress underneath him. He squintted his eyes and gently rubbing them. When he had his full vision, he realized there is a person underneath him, a human being. He panicked and jumped a little, but slightly relaxed when he noticed it was a familiar face.

He doesn't know how they ended up with Chan laying on the sofa and Jeongin above him. He doesn't even remember falling asleep.

He tried to keep his panicking as quiet as possible, since the older looked so peaceful while sleeping. He spotted his phone on the table beside them and swiftly grabbed to check the time.

It was 11:14 AM, which surprised the younger how he didn't wake up any sooner. Was he that comfortable? Jeongin admits this was the best sleep he had in two days, but Chan was still basically a stranger... Right?

Did he really needed to know much more about him than he already knew to not call him a stranger? He realized the answer was actually no, Chan was by no means a stranger, he was so nice and kept his company and even offered him a place to sleep when he was stupid enough to lose his keys.

Did Chan consider him as a stranger though? Jeongin doesn't know the answer, but no one lets a stranger crash at their place... Right?

Jeongin then recalled Chan's sleep problem. Jeongin's eyes widened, and he checked the time again. It was 11:17 AM. He remembered when he reached Chan's dorm it was around 3:00 AM. Does that mean Chan finally had a good amount of sleep?

Jeongin then shook his head lightly, not wanting to read too much of this. He is a heavy sleeper, so maybe Chan kept going around his room and settled like this a couple of hours ago, that could be possible.

The younger felt Chan shifing beneath him. He pretended like he was still sleeping, because he didn't know how to act. He suddenly felt a hand brush his hair And felt the older inhale sharpy.

Chan reached for his phone to check the time. He couldn't believe his eyes. He hasn't slept this long in a really long time. His sleep was peaceful and nothing interrupted it. He hadn't felt that feeling in a really long time.

"Jeongin? Wake up, it's 11:30." Chan shook the younger lightly, and Jeongin pretend like he had just woken up. He got off of the older and came face to face with him. "I'm sorry, I didn't notice I was sleeping on top of you, I don't even remember falling asleep."

Chan chuckled. "My left hand is kinda numb, but I won't complain since this is the longest sleep I have had in a long time." Chan's mouth blurted out this information without him noticing.

Chan's mouth was hang open to try and maybe deny it by saying "just kidding" Or something like that, but it was pointless at this point since he did mention before about him having it difficult to fall asleep or have a sleep without any interruptions.

Jeongin wore a worried expression and immediately replied. "W-what do you mean?"

Jeongin already knew about his sleeping problems, but hearing it this directly in that kind of way means this time he admits it, rather than hiding it with sarcasm like how he usually does, or just say "don't worry".

"It's nothing-" Chan got cut off.

"It is obviously not nothing."

The two boys were sitting close, Jeongin's hand resting near the older's hand.

Chan just kept quiet. He doesn't talk much about this with his friends, and always tried to hide it. The feeling of someone seeing him admit he has insomnia didn't feel as bad as he thought it would.

"I won't push you, but just know I'm always here. Yes, we basically don't really know that much about each other, but I'd gladly help you sleep anytime." Jeongin timidly said.

Chan couldn't help but to think how adorable the younger is. Does sleeping with company in general helped him sleep? Or sleeping with a specific guy who looks like a fox is the secret?
