Weeks had passed and my leg was finally almost healed, with an exception of the crutches I had to use so I didn't put too much pressure on my bad leg. I thought I wore them well with my grey body-con dress though.

I had been staying at Colson's ever since everything and we had gotten even closer than we were before, he treated me like a princess, and I couldn't stop myself from thinking about how much I was in love with him as we sat across from eachother, with his little girl babbling away about school.
"Can I talk yet?" He asked sarcastically, as Casie looked at me with a slightly flushed face realising how much she was talking.
"I love you Casie, you deserve to know what's going on in my life, you're my daughter and I respect and cherish you more than anything in the world, and that's why I asked you before I asked her." He said as he pointed at me.
"Wha-" I stopped as I was interrupted by the excited squeal that escaped his daughters lips.
"Finally!" She said I looked at her and couldn't help but giggle as I watched her grin at me.
I furrowed my eyebrows slightly in confusion, as I watched Kells usher her to his side of the table, they linked hands and he kissed the back of her hand before reaching into his pocket, and placing a small black box on the table.

He began to rap, but there was more emotion put into the words he spoke.

"What do you mean 'woah'?" He said sounding panicked.

"Are you and daddy boyfriend and girlfriend!?" The little girl piped up with excitement.

"Do I really need to answer?" I said.

"Uh..please." He said sarcastically

"No!" I answered back.

I could practically see him stop breathing

"I'm kidding! I love fucking with you." I continued as I laughed loudly.

"Fuck!" He said as he held his chest with a small smile on his face.

"I love you so much. I was just too scared to say it a lot." I answered quietly.

"Say it again." He said as he looked at me deeply, reaching for my hand, and holding it gently.

"I love you" I giggled at the way he blushed slightly.

"I love you too." He said with a small smile on his face.

We were caught in each others gaze and had forgotten Casie was there.

"I love you both too, I know you guys love me already!" The girls said sassily and with such volume both me and her father jumped at the sound of her voice.

Casie started to laugh and I couldn't help but but giggle myself.

"You didn't put on the ring!" She said excitedly

Her father hi-fived her and gestured for my left hand putting the ring on my 'ring finger'.

"So this is a promise ring...my corny ass I know, but it means, that I promise to give you you all the love you need, I promise to replace this ring with an engagement ring...one day." He said as he chuckled a little.

"It's so beautiful, thank you so much...I really do mean it." I answered with my eyes scanning the beautiful piece of jewellery that was now on my finger.

"I know baby." He said quietly.

"And what about my beautiful little princess? Should we bake a cake for Lia like you wanted?!" He asked with enthusiasm, causing Casie to punch the air triumphantly.

"Yesss! Yes yes yes yes yeeeeesss!" She shouted loudly, causing her dad to shake his head as he smiled at her.

"I want you to go and search up some recipes for chocolate cake wait for me in the kitchen." He said.

He lifted me up as soon as she was out of the room, and walked into to the living room, and sat on the couch. He kissed me passionately and I couldn't help but kiss him back. I broke away a
"I got a whole ass man!" I chuckled as I kissed his neck.
"You got a whole step child too, go help her out."
"Ok,ok." I said getting off of his lap, unable to stop myself from smiling.
I could feel his eyes watching me, as I walked out of the room, feeling more content than ever before.
