Woah. It's probably the 10th time Riley has texted me this day, but I didn't reply. I saw them. It was about me talking to him about something. I am not sure if I was ready to talk to Riley. I mean, was I ready to confess that I like him? I fear that he'll probably say 'Nah. I'm just kidding. I love you as a sister.' to me. You know how he jokes a lot, right? He pisses me to death before he even started talking about Molecular and Figurative Geometry to me. My thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell ringing. I stood up from the sofa in our family room and shouted, "I'll get it." to no one, in certain. I just shouted to note everyone that I'll open the door.

As I opened the door, I saw a figure that I was not ready to see. "Hey Natasha,"

"Riley?" I asked. He nods and chuckles a bit. Oh this wonderful human being! "What are you doing here?"

"You weren't answering my texts, and if I call you, you probably won't answer it. So, I went to your house to talk to you. Maybe, take you out and then talk."

"Well, come in and sit in the sofa. Then, watch some TV while I ask my mother and get prepared."

So, I lead him to the family room, and gave him the remote. I walked out of the room and heard Riley say something. "Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Natasha's watching such a morbid, and sexual show. I thought only guys were like this."

"McDonough! I could hear you! Watching Game Of Thrones isn't a sin okay? Now, shut up and watch whatever you want." I tell him, and giggled while I went to the Master's bedroom since my mother is there. I mean, c'mon! It's Saturday! My mother's probably reading a pocketbook inside that room. So, I knocked thrice and peeked inside. "Hey Mom?"

"Yes sweetie?" she replied while still holding the book she's been reading for a week. It's a long book called "Inferno".

"Could I go out with Riley?"

"Sure honey! Just be back at lunch time. You could also ask Riley if he wants to take his lunch here with us. Your older sister is coming back from Uni today so there might be a small feast."

It would probably be awkward but, "Okay Mom. I'll tell him."

"Stay safe!"

I closed the door and went to my room, and wore the first thing I find in my closet. I have taken a bath but I'm in my house clothes so I should probably change. I wore a red shirt and above it were black short overalls, and of course my pair of all black high cut Converse. I tied my hair up in a high ponytail, and went downstairs. I went to the family room and called Riley. "Hey Ri." I'm good to go."

"Hey, you're cute." he said as he winked at me. Okay we haven't got out of the house but this was already starting. I walked outside first, and waited for Riley to come out. It took a bit of time because it was probably he turned off the electronics in the family room.

"So, what do you need to talk about?" I asked. We were currently walking around the park, and I guess it's fun to actually talk about a problem in a fresh environment.

"You." he said shortly, but continued. "You're acting a bit different since we argued about me failing a lot in school. What's bothering you?"

A lot. I wish I could just say that out loud, but I couldn't. "Things that were said by someone."

"Who's that someone? C'mon! That person is being bothered by you big time. Is that person someone special to you or something? did that person betray you? You know I hate seeing you unhappy!"

"Riley. I don't know if I'm ready to say this to you."

"Cmon Nat. You could tell me ever-"

"It's you alright! You said words that bothered me a lot."

He froze. "I-I'm sorry. But what exactly did I tell you?"

"I was the one that you like. You were confused with your feelings about me so you went downhill. Now, I feel like it's my fault, and by the time I tell you that I like you, you'll probably say-"

"Woah, woah, woah wait. You like me." he said like it wasn't really a question. Oh shit. Did I just say that? Holy mother of God.

I started to internally panic on how he would react. We stopped at where we are, and I was looking away while he was looking at me. "Hey baby, what's the matter? Please don't cry."

WAIT. I'M CRYING? THIS MUST BE BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH PANIC. I still didn't look at him as I answered. "I'm scared."

He cupped my cheeks so I would face him. The next thing I knew our heads were getting closer to each other's. As our noses touched, he said "Hey. Shhh. I love you." Then he kissed me without warning.

Congratulations Natasha. You just earned your first kiss from Riley McDonough.

The kiss wasn't awkward. It was my first kiss, but it wasn't awkard. It wasn't too soggy or intense. It was just perfect for a first kiss. His hands slide down to my waist and my hands were on his shoulders. It felt like it was the perfect position. Maybe this is how it  feels like to be in love. Well... Am I? We've known each other for two years and a half. But this feeling of love just popped up this year. Was it really love?

The kissed lasted for a while. Riley pulls back and smiles. "I love you, you know that? I've never planned to actually tell you that everything I am teasing you is fake. Because believe it or not, I am actually falling for you. Ever since you wouldn't notice me, I've noticed the small things I miss about you. The way you pout when you study about chemistry, the way you laugh loud in a manner that isn't annoying, the way you're confident to eat a lot when we hang out., the way you sleep in the tutor center when you're tired from swimming class, the way you hug me, the way you smile at me, and a lot more."

I hugged Riley. "Thank you. I love you too, Riley. I can't believe the guy I look up to, and is very, very annoying is actually telling me these things. I think, I feel the same way for you."

"So, should we start something?" he smirks at me, and goddamn he's hot.

"What something?"

"Could you be my girlfriend?"

I release a bit from the hug, but my hands were still at the back of his neck, and his arms were still on my waist. "Who says you couldn't be my boyfriend?"

"That's a yes?"

"That's a yes."

We finally release from the hug, and held hands. Then, we continued walking until we decided to walk home.

And yes, I did ask him to have lunch with us at home. I guess it wouldn't be so awkward now.

A/N:

OH MY GOD. YES! Natley is real! YES! THIS SHIP AIN'T GONNA SINK YO. I'VE JUST ACTUALLY MADE A SHIP NAME FOR THEM. WOOHOO! AHAHAHA. BUT YES THEY ARE FINALLY IN GOOD TERMS. TOO MUCH FEELS ON THE PART WHERE RILEY SAID, "I'VE NOTICED THE SMALL THINGS I MISS ABOUT YOU." COULD I PLEASE HAVE A BOYFRIEND LIKE THAT? HAHAHA. Remember when I said this was partly real, well this is the part where everything is fictional. WHY CAN'T THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!?! I, in reality, do not have any guy friends. lol. ok. UNTIL THE NEXT CHAPTER! :D
