Mariah tiredly blew her nose into the soft tissue. "Anne? Can you call Tommy and tell him I'm not going to be able to make it to the studio?" She asked.

"Sure thing." Anne replied and rushed to the phone.

Anne was Mariah's personal assistant and over the past few months Anne and Mariah had become really good friends to the point that Anne had moved into Neverland to do everything Mariah wanted her to do. Anne handled all Mariah's business stuff and took care of all her phone calls and that made things very easy for Mariah.

Somehow Mariah had caught the flu and was very sick so she couldn't record 'Sent From Up Above' today as planned. She knew Tommy was going to be upset but she felt so awful she couldn't even get out of bed.

To be honest Mariah was glad she was sick because whenever she was around Tommy she always felt nauseous, he would act very flirtatious towards her and that made her beyond uncomfortable but she didn't want to say anything or confront him about it because she was desperate to have a career in the music industry so anytime he'd act that way she'd just laugh it off. He almost gave her the vibe Marvin gave her and that was the worst but there was no way he could be that terrible.

Michael walked over to Mariah as she lied on the bed and was facing the television screen. "I hope you feel better." He told her and then gave her a soft kiss on the cheek. She nodded and then pulled the covers over her, she desperately needed to get some sleep.

"She is going to be one of the biggest superstars ever, we need to get her on all the late shows and morning shows, we need to heavily promote her album and ensure that everybody in the world will know the name Mariah Carey." Tommy Mottola explained to the men and women around him. "The album will be out by June of next year."

"What if this 'Future Superstar' you speak of, flops?" A man asked him.

Tommy rolled his eyes. "People who have voices like that don't flop..." He replied. "Plus she's multi-talented because she also writes all of her songs." He explained.

Tommy was in the middle of a meeting with some very important and industry industry people like himself, Mariah was supposed to be there but she was sick so he had to go alone.

"Do you have any songs of hers that we can hear?" A women interjected. Tommy nodded and played the unfinished cd. 'Vision Of Love' started playing and the whole room was in shock. After the song Tommy had a wide smile on his face, he could tell the people were blown away. "So?" Tommy asked.

"Your weren't lying when you said she's got some serious chops, did she write that one herself?" A man named William asked.

Tommy nodded. "She's written every song on her album, I'm telling you guys she's gonna be a big star."

Another man stood up and started speaking. "Yeah the girls talented and has a cool name but what does she look like? Let's be honest most people who have that much talent don't come with looks and in this industry image is everything, is that why she didn't come today?" He asked.

Tommy laughed. "Actually shes a nice looking girl and she didn't come today because she caught the flu, but I'd be happy to schedule another meeting with you guys."

They all agreed to schedule another meeting and then left.

The phone started ringing uncontrollably as Mariah sung to herself cooked her Ramen Noodles on the stove. She quickly ran over to the phone and answered it. "Hello?" Mariah asked in an annoyed tone, she was mad because whoever called has disrupted the fun she was having while she was home alone. "Hey baby!" She knew immediately by his voice that it was Michael calling. Her annoyed tone quickly turned into a joyful one.

"Hey, what's up?" She asked him with a wide smile on her face.

He giggled in a childlike manner. "Nothing really, I just called to say I love you and I'm sorry I can't be there right now but I just wanted to tell you that." Michael explained.

She laughed. "Well I love you too Mike and it's fine, I understand that you have a career so there's no need to apologize."

"Alright well I have to go but I love you bye." Michael replied.

"Love you too, bye." She responded and then hung up the phone.

She missed Michael but she had to admit, it was nice to have some alone time and a huge house all to herself, he would be gone for another month but that was fine with her.

Mariah continued to cook her ramen noodles and fade back into her little fantasy world.
