"Mariah hurry up!" Jada rushed as she slid her fake golden ear ring into the pierced part of her ear.
Mariah took a second glance at herself and then breathed in deeply, she'd never been so nervous in her entire life.
Jada grabbed her handbag and ran out of the door hastily as Mariah followed they then entered the backseat of the car which was Jadas mothers demand.
"Thanks again for inviting me, Sherry." Mariah said gratefully with a wide smile on her face.
"Oh darling don't even worry about
it, it's my pleasure." Sherry replied in her thick New York accent as she drove. "You're like family, me and your mother grew up together as best friends that is until-""Marvin." Mariah interrupted and looked down despondently.
Marvin had such a control over Mariah's mother that she did whatever he told her to do, there's only one thing she wouldn't agree to and that was 'to get these half-breeds out of here' referring to Mariah and her 2 siblings Morgan and Alison.

Eric stared into his binoculars as he scanned around the very back row looking for 'the one'. He sighed, he genuinely couldn't find anyone. He decided to give it just one more try.
He quickly reviewed the back row and he saw the perfect girl. Erics eyes lit up, "She's gorgeous." He whispered to himself. "Exactly Michaels type, she's really skinny but that's something he can fix."
Eric called for the one of the bodyguards. "Do you see that girl up there? I want you to get her and take her backstage." He demanded.
The bodyguard nodded and went up to get her.
"I'm bad, I'm bad." Mariah and Jada sang together in unison having the time of their lives. Mariah felt a tap on her shoulder. "Yes?" Mariah asked clearly confused.
The lady pointed to the bodyguard that was at the beginning of the row. "That man wants you," She told her.
Mariah squinted her eyes trying to see who the man was. "Jada that dude up there wants me I'll be right back."
Jada nodded and continued singing and dancing along to Michael as Mariah got up and went with the bodyguard.
"Ma'am please follow me." He told her. She did as he said and somehow found herself backstage. "You are going to stay here for the remainder of the concert." He explained to her.
Mariah looked at him like he was crazy immediately catching an attitude. "Excuse me but my best friends mother paid for me to go to this concert and you cannot tell me what I can and can't do." She scowled and then rolled her eyes.
"Mrs, please just stay in here you'll regret it if you don't." He warned her.
She groaned. "Whatever." She sat down on the white couch that was in the room boredly watching the concert through a screen. "This is absolute bullshit." She huffed.

Michael walked over to Eric with sweat dripping off of his forehead. "Did you find someone?" He asked sounding like a little boy on Christmas.
Eric smiled nodded. He took Michaels hand and lead him backstage only to find a woman sleeping on his couch.
"That's her?" He asked.
Eric started clapping in attempt to wake the young woman up. She shot up angrily. "What the hell?!" She yelled looking around unaware of where she was.
She looked to the front of the room and saw the one and only Michael Jackson giggling at her.
Mariah suddenly became starstruck. Michael walked over and put his hand out for her to shake in attempt to be friendly. "My name is Michael, but you probably already know that." Mariah looked up at him in complete and utter awe. "M-My names Mariah." She replied.
"They call the wind Mariah." Michael dramatically sung.
Mariah giggled like a little school girl. "That's the musical my mom named me after, s-she used to be an opera singer."
"Well Mariah you are one extremely beautiful girl." He told her and then slightly grabbed her hand and softly kissed it.
Mariah smiled thinking this was all some dream and that she was about to wake up.
Michael flashed a warm smile at her. "Id be honored if you would let me take you to dinner tonight."
"Y-Yeah you can take me o-out to dinner." She replied still thinking it was a dream but for some reason she wasn't waking up.

Michael and Mariah sat down at the table and Michael attempted to start up conversation. "So how old are you?" Michael questioned.
"Um, 25." She lied.
"Wow there isn't a big age gap, you look very young." Michael responded and sipped his water.
Mariah smiled at him nervously. She didn't want to mess this up by admitting to him that she was only seventeen.
"It's just genes I guess." Mariah replied.
