"False alarm." Mariah ecstatically told Janet as she walked out of the doctors office.

Janet smiled. "That's good, you and Michael definitely aren't ready for a baby right now."

Mariah nodded. "Oh believe me I know... plus I'm too young right now to have a child." She replied as her and Janet walked out of the building.

"It would've been a mess." Janet laughed. "By the way what's been going on with you lately? Michael said you've been acting crazy."

"I don't know, I was just upset for a while but it's okay cause I'm fine now." Mariah replied with a smile on her
face.

Janet drove Mariah back to Neverland. Mariah hadn't told Michael about the whole thing and she was glad, because he would've been so disappointed if since she wasn't actually pregnant and she knew how much he wanted to have a child.

Mariah wasn't even too fond of the idea of having children yet, sure kids were cute and all but she wanted to focus on her career for right now. She was definitely going to start being more careful because if she would've actually been pregnant then her life would've been ruined, or at least that's what she thought.

"Where'd you guys go?" Michael asked them as they walked into the house.

"We just went to the mall to pick up a few things, but we didn't see anything that we wanted so we left." Mariah lied as she put her Louis Vuitton bag down on the counter and opened the fridge to pour herself some ice tea.

"Y'all can do whatever you guys want, I'm just glad that you and Janet get along... cause she has never gotten along with any of my other
girlfriends." Michael said.

Janet chuckled. "Well your other girlfriends were obnoxious and I could see right through them, Mariah's the only girl you've ever been with who's real and actually a good person," She explained.

Mariah smiled at her. "That's nice of you to say Janet, thank you."

"Girl, I'm serious... those other girls were just-" Janet stopped herself. "You know what? Mother told me that if I didn't have anything nice to say then I shouldn't say anything at all, so I'll just keep my mouth closed."

Mariah bursted out in laughter and accidentally spilled her tea. "See what you made me do, Janet?" Mariah jokingly scolded and then grabbed a napkin and wiped it up.

"Don't y'all got maids for that? Shoot if I lived here,  I would've just left that there and let someone else clean it up." Janet said.

Mariah got up from the floor. "Yeah but  it only takes me two seconds to clean up my mess so I just do it." She explained.

Mariah quietly doodled in her math notebook as the teacher talked about whatever she was talking about, Mariah wasn't listening.

Often times Mariah would just daydream in class instead of actually doing any work. "Mariah!" The teacher scolded.

Mariah rolled her eyes and then looked up at her teacher. "Huh?"

"Why didn't you do the algebra homework I assigned last Friday? You were the only one who didn't do it." Her teacher asked.

Mariah gave her a dirty look and then started looking at her own nails. "You tell me, i don't know... oh wait yeah I do, I didn't want to do it and so guess what? I didn't... if you want it then look in Mrs. Henderson's trash can."

"Why are you so disrespectful? You have absolutely no respect for adults and it's ridiculous... who raised you?" The teacher stressed.

"Look dude, you been asking too many questions and I'm really about to walk outta here." Mariah replied.

"Walk out then, you're never going to amount to a thing... your not smart, your disrespectful and you don't try!" The teacher snapped.

"I'll be making way more money then you by the time I'm 25." Mariah mumbled.

Again sorry for the short part but I've been pretty busy and I'm trying to get our chapters as fast as I can.
