Mariah laid her head down on Michael's chest as they tiredly rode on the plane back to California. Michael boredly played with Mariah's hair because he had nothing else to do. Mariah was writing in her notebook because she needed to get this last song done.

They were doing what they usually did and just enjoyed each other's presence instead of actually communicating with one another.

They'd figured out a wedding date though Michael wasn't even sure if they were ready to get married anymore. Him and Mariah were fighting most of the time and it certainly wasn't a healthy relationship but he knew if he tried to talk to Mariah about it then it would just start another argument which at this point he tried to avoid at all costs.

Mariah closed her notebook and put it on the floor and then got comfortable on Michael's chest. She closed her eyes and fell asleep quickly. Michael noticed that she was shivering so he took off his jacket and covered her up with it so she wouldn't be cold anymore.

He liked to watch her sleep, as weird as it sounded. She always looked so peaceful and he thought it was cute when she'd sometimes softly snore.
Plus when she was asleep he didn't have to worry about her out of the blue being mad at him over something stupid, that is until he had to wake her up.

Michael wished it was the same way it used to be. When she'd never question him or even raise her voice at him, things were simpler then. He thought maybe the reason she was so snappy was because of her past, he still didn't know the full extinct of what went on between her and Marvin and he probably never would.

After a few hours it was finally time to get off the plane and go back to Neverland. He softly shook Mariah and instead of flipping out she just got up and got off the plane.

Mariah's Pov

"Lovin you is easy cause your beautiful." I softly sung to myself as I stared directly out the car window. Michael was sitting next to me but I was ignoring him like I usually did.

I should start being more nice to him, maybe that will be my news year resolution. I turned to Michael and smiled at him. "Hey, babe." I said.

"Oh hey, Mariah." He replied and then looked back at the window.

And he wonders why I always have the urge to yell at him. "So April 7th right?" I asked him, referring to the date of our wedding.

He nodded. "Yep."

"This is never going to work if you don't engage in conversation with me." I said trying to stay calm and not yell at him.

"Well I'm always afraid you're going to yell at me if I say something wrong." He replied.

"Well let's talk about it." I said.

"I don't feel like it." Michael said back.

I punched my leg and bit my lip trying not to explode. "Well I want to talk about it."

"Well I don't." Michael said, his tone rising s few notches.

I couldn't help it and I just let it all out. "Why is everything always about you? I try to fix the relationship and you-"

I was interrupted when Michael abruptly started kissing me to stop me from yelling. I kissed him back and the kiss got deeper, I pulled away. "We're not about to do it in the back of a limo."

Michael laughed and then hugged me. "How about we don't talk about anything we just somehow... fix it."
