You and Shuichi had been friends for the longest. You first meet when you were in middle school. He was sitting away from everyone reading. You decided to go talk to him so he wouldn't be so lonely. You guys hung out all the time lunch and recess. Ever since then you guys have been inseparable. But due to that you have gained feelings for him. You didn't want to ruin your friendship with him so you concealed your feelings.

You walked to Shuichi's house to walk with him to school. You rang the doorbell before waiting. When the door opened it was his uncle. "Oh hey (y/n), shuichi isn't awake yet but you could go wake him up." "Thanks." You and Shuichi's uncle weren't strangers, he knew you and you weren't uncomfortable around him. You arrived at Shuichi's door, you didn't bother knocking and went straight in. "Shuuichiii! Wake up!" He was lying down on his bed asleep. He wore his pajamas and covered in blankets, his face was faced towards the window. You walked towards his face before crouching infront. 'He looks adorable sleeping. Oh gosh I sounded so creepy.' You shook your head to get the thoughts out of your head. You poked his cheek. "Shuichi, Shuichi Shuuichi." Everytime you poked his check you would call out his name. You got inpatient so pulled the covers of. "Shuichi Saihara, wake up and get ready."

He had finally awoken. He groaned "(y/n) what are doing here and what time is it?" You sat down on his swirly chair while turning. "Its time for you to get ready before we're late." He looked at his clock before jumping out if bed and getting his uniform. "S-sorry my alarm must have not went off." He ran to the restroom to change before quickly coming out fully changed. He grabbed his bag. "Alright I'm ready come on." You got off the chair and walked out with him.

You guys had barely made it to class. You went to your separate desk. You sat next to Rantaro and Tenko. He sat behind you next to Ryoma and Tsumugi. The teacher had walked in class attention turning to them. Class was going great you were writing the notes down until you felt something hit the back of your head. You turned around and saw Shuichi handing you a note, you took the note and turned around. You read the note

Meet me outside behind the school

You turned around to look at him but he was already back to working.

After Class

You packed up your stuff and made your way to the back of the school. Shuichi was already there standing.  "Hey shuichi so what did you want to meet up for." He saw you and looked back down. "H-hey (y/n) u-um I just wanted to talk to you about something." He seemed to be more nervous then he usually is. He is normally nervous but not this much around you. "W-well I-I don't know h-how to say this it-but IREALLYREALLYLIKEYOU!" "W-WAIT!  Did you just say you like m-me!? "S-sorry you probably dont feel the same way i-i will just go p-please forget I sai-" you cut him of by grabbing his face with both your hands. "I like you to shuichi." He stood shocked. He brought his hands to your waist and hugged you. "I love you (y/n)." You hugged him back "I love you too"
