CHAPTER 2: THE NEW CADET

Boboiboy POV

The girl walked out with boring looked on her face as she blows her bubble gum. She had a bright medium green haired with some revealing parts of her clothes. She also had a pair of wolf ears with a tail. " Huh, so can we get on with it...?" as she keep on chewing her gum. " Y-yes, well today we are going to observe her test and compare everyone's result." Ciciko explain.

" What a brat, judging from your altitude, I bet your result is worse than mine." Gopal bragged. This made the girl to walk in front of him with a bloodlust look. " Would you mind say that again ~~, Go- pal-san? Cause you have not seen what I CAN do yet. " her eyes were glowing with fire which made Gopal frighten with fear. Though I was quite surprised, how did she know his name? We haven't introduced ourselves yet.

" Now calm down, may we start the test, sir?" Fang asked as he sees the situation might get worse. Sir Laksamana lift a very thick papers that filled with 999 questions to answer. " Complete this questions before the time runs out, you have 2 and a half hou-" Laksamana was halt as Leona lift her hand with a smirk on the look of her face.

" 10." She smirk. Judging the way she smiles, I guess she only needs 10 minutes... " So...... I'm guessing only ten minutes, right?" I asked to confirm my prediction. " No, 10 seconds actually." Confidently, she took the papers and revealed a pen from her hand.

" Hmph, There's no way she'll able finished those question!" He whispered to my ear. I sighed and told him. " But you don't know what she's capable of, so let's see she's got." I smiled. " Leona, are you ready?" as he raised the timer. As she spit her gum out, she question. " I need some distractions, please."

" By distraction, you mean......" Ying wondered. before Now I that think about it, I think I've seen her somewhere in my dream. Leona... Leona...... Think, think, where have I seen that pose ....

Neeehhh, Leona-neechan, why do you like distraction so much while studying? The little girl asked.

Well, let's just say I'd think is so much more fun, more exciting and challenging to me, that's why I love it. The older girl smiled as she trained with her katana. My eyes widened as she is the girl in my dream. I see, I get it now. " Is it because it's more fun and challenging to you, like guns and knives or anything explosive?" The girl widened her eyes with shocked, but then she grinned and lift her leg. " Bingo~."

Scary......

Fang POV

As Ciciko prepared all the best weapon in headquarters, including my shadow ability to distract Leona's test. " Ready..." as Ciciko lifted the timer. Leona grip her pen to write. " Start!"

In the blink of an eye, all the weapons and lasers start to shoot as she answers the questions, my shadow animals weren't infecting her concentration. Her speed was tremendously fast, as fast as lightning. What shocked me was how she able to sit where she was, leaving no movements. Not even a single movement besides writing.

Damn it...

10 seconds had passed, and Ciciko took the paper away and look at the paper undamaged. " How's that possible?! Those attacks could rip the papers." Gopal shout. Yaya agreed " True, how can she write and block the attacks at the same time?"

" Fang, while attacking, did you felt anything?" Boboiboy asked. " Like anything sharp that cut your shadow?" Now he mentioned it, there was something shiny that slice my shadow... but what was it? " What you saw was my katana." Said Leona as she walks with her hands in her pocket and smirk.

" What?!" I said with a pissing look on my hands but Boboiboy stopped me. " So, your Japanese?" Ying asked. "Maybe I am." She shrugged. "Alright, here is Leona's result and comparing with yours." Said Ciciko. I think her result is worse than Gopal. I thought, but when I saw the result, I was stunned. Her result was a perfect solid 100 marks.

She was even better than Yaya and Ying, though it made them kinda angry. "How is this even possible!?" both of them shouted. " Hoooo... I guess Igneel-san was right to study before coming." She whispered while smirking. Igneel... san? Who is he? My thoughts were interrupt by Boboiboy. " Fang! Come on we have to go to the auditorium." His words were soft, that made me flustered.

As we went to the auditorium, we saw Leona cooking in a flash. By the time we reach to the others, all of our friends were testing her food. " Boboiboy, you've gotta try this! It's so good." Said Gopal as he handed both of us the dishes.

When both us took a bite, the food tasted like heaven, the texture was soft and delicate. The girl stared at us, I looked away while Boboiboy compliment her. " This taste really good. What ingredient did you use?" the girl glance at him and puts her finger on her lips, saying " That'll be my secret, kid." She winked. That made Bobiboy blush.

I was fumed. How dare she flirt with him! I immediately storm off to the final test.

Normal POV

As they went to the battle ground they saw Fang's brother, Kaizo standing in a position. " Captain Kaizo, what are doing here?" asked Fang. Apparently, Kaizo volunteered to fight with Leona to test her strength. " Can we get on with it?!! My body has limits ya know...." She moaned.

" Leona, your test is to beat Kaizo by singing competition." Said Laksamana. The girl stood still quiet, as if she was sacred to do it. " Are you okay?" Boboiboy asked with concern. " I-I'm fine." She said.

" Leona, are you ready?" asked Ciciko. Leona nod silently, as if she was too scared to reply. "Well let the test begin."

As both of them meets in the eye, Kaizo was the first to speak up. " Sashiburi, Leona-san..." he spoke with gentle relieved eyes and smile. But Leona gave a silent reply. " Yeah, Kaizo-kun......" as she scratch her elbow. The gang was shocked. When did Kaizo and Leona know each other?

" Let the battle begin!"

Kaizo POV

As I waited for the new cadet, I was wondering how the new cadet looked like... as Captain Ciciko walked in with the new cadet, my eyes widened... I couldn't believe my eyes...... could it be? No, I saw her dead in my arm... could it? ...... well, there's one way to find out. As our eyes meet, I recognised her graceful eyes and her walking styles with her hair moved elegant were the same 15 years ago... so she's alive the whole time.

My heart was racing fast, I don't even know what to say to her... " Leona, long to time no see..." as my eyes are almost teary. But...... her voice was different. "Yeah, Kaizo-kun..." her voice stunned. My eyes widened. Is she really the Leona I once knew 15 years ago...
