CHAPTER 23: BETRAYAL AND BROKEN FRIENDSHIP PART 2

River POV

After the competition, Minako and I separate to find her friends while I stroll down the hallway. From there, I could see my mother steaming with fury, it was as if she could kill anyone with a single grip of her hand. I gulp down the tensions. "Mom, w-why are you pissed?" God I stutter of fear from my mom's rage.

She turn to me with relief before she explain. "Sorry, hun. Someone tried to snatch the sisters away from our kingdom." She sigh with wary look. "Oh, well I'll go back to my room to check on Minako. I'm planning her a special treat." I winked at my mom.

She chuckle softly while smiling. "Go get her tiger wolf!" she nudges me with her elbow. I slowly walk my way to the dorm, I could see Minako's friends out from our dorm, angry and depressed. I hid behind the wall, hearing their conversation. "It was all that new cadet and the criminal's fault..." the girl with a blue and yellow hat growled.

Hey, if you blame on me and my cousin, best if you check your actions first! I shouted in my mind. Seeing them leaving while dragging the idiot out from my dorm. I could hear Minako's cry, I wince my eyes in pain. Seeing or hearing her crying really messed up my nerves. I walked in front of the door and knock very lightly enough for Minako to hear. "Minako, are you okay?"

The door opened and it wasn't her, it was Fang. He close the door and face towards to me. "Look, Boboiboy is not in the mood but I'll explain it for you. C'mon, let's talk at the cafeteria..." he gestured his hands to me to follow. He explain what happened between Minako and her friends. I swear I would slash at their neck right in front of their house. My face went dark, I gritted my teeth, I clenched my fist tight.

Fang place his hands on one of my fist and said. "Look, man. It's not worth it, and could you tell me why are we keeping secrets from our friends? This situation was all started by my brother and your cousin." He said all in one breathe. I smacked my forehead for not noticing how dumb his brother was. "Look, I don't know what went wrong with your brother's head but let me clear my situation here. I have turn myself in 4 years ago after finishing my debts with matters that involved my people." I sigh, trying to clear my mind.

"Besides, the people in this planet has been through a lot, that's why we are keeping this place a secret. Oh and one more thing." Fang stare at me waiting patiently. "From the moment your so call friends walk into our planet, everyone can sense hatred and jealousy from them. As well as their sense of rightful justice, they pure soul is manipulated by Satan himself." I crossed my arms furiously.

Fang's eyes went wide, he couldn't believe such simple action or words can affect his friends so much. "Then..." he paused for a moment before he said. "Why am I not affected like my friends?" he asked. I shrugged my shoulder with replying lazily. "I have said it before, whoever lives here or born here are perfectly able to earn trust but outsiders, they either use us or misunderstood. That's all."

"Welp... I need to go check on Minako." I stood up from my seat and left to my dorm. I open the door and I could tell she cried a lot before she slowly fall asleep. I quietly sat next to her, her eyes were puffy red, the tissues were spread across the floor. You've been through so much, Minako... you don't deserve them. They're not worth for you tears.

Slowly, Minako stir in dizziness while lifting herself up the bed. "R-River... is that you?" her voice was hoarse, I pulled her body to mine to hug. "Yeah, it's me. But listen, those tears aren't worth it for them. If they care for your friendship, they would support, not disagreeing from your choice." I slowly pat her head.

She raises her head after some simple breathings, staring at me with a genuine smile on her beautiful face. "Thanks for cheering me up, River." She sniffs while wiping her tears away from her fragile face of hers. "Okay, why not we take a nice hot bath at the hot spring eh? Sounds good?" I asked. "Sure, I kinda miss it after so long." She perked up out of the bed to get her swim suit and her towel out from her closet.

I chuckle as she excitedly drag me out from the bed to the hot spring. Soon, we both separate to male and female hot spring. So, I join with my friends and cousin and plan some head starts to deal with someone......

Normal POV

Right after the gang left to their dorm, Ying was stomping furiously. Ugh, I can't believe Boboiboy would do this to us? We're her friends, we trust each other, we trusted you! And this is how you repay our friendship?! It was all that new cadet and the criminal's fault! They must've done something to our friends! She paces back and forth with gritting her teeth.

"Ying, would you please stop it?! You are giving headache, and I can't focus on our plan to rescue the power spheres!" Yaya scribble down the plan. Ying turn her head with fury and pain in her eyes. "How can I stop when Boboiboy trusted them instead of us?! We are her friends, we're supposed to stick together!" she swung her left arm around while the right arm clenches its fist.

Yaya stayed silent and bit her bottom lip, it is true that Boboiboy stood up for the criminal and the new cadet. They knew Boboiboy would sometimes defended the villains, but not this one. This one is something they really think it's a bad idea. "So, what's the plan?" Gopal regain his conscious a moment ago, though he did heard some of the conversation.

"We are going to strike while they are distracted by the finals." Yaya responded flatly, she still planning some extra backup plans, just in case if their plan bail out. But little did they know, that someone eavesdropping their plans for rescuing the three sisters. "So, they haven't learnt their lesson eh..." he whispers.

"So what are we gonna do?"

"Easy! Let's do some of our good ol days."

"No, you know I don't like the sound of it..."

"Pfft... please what could possibly go wrong~"

"sigh...... I hope you're right..."

"...Kyoka Tategame..."

Okay, right after I finish this, I'm going to make a new story of billdip. I will publish the first chapter at the same time with this story's final chapter. But I hope you enjoyed it.
