CHAPTER 24: STRANGE

Minako POV

The moment I walked into the hot spring, I felt relaxed. "Minako, is that you?" I heard a small splash from behind the rocks, revealed Leona and her siblings. "Girl, you've gotten cuter." She practically squeal next to my ear. "Pweaasee stwop pinchinhg me..." I whine.

"Oh, sorry." She apologised, letting go of my cheek. "So, how's it going with Captain Kaizo?" I asked. She told me about like catching things up that they lost, and the best part is that they're finally engaged. I was so happy for them. But it didn't last long, my sad concern expression soon discovered by Leona. "Minako... is there something bothering you?" she asked in concern.

"Yeah... let's just say that my friends decided to abandon me and Fang after the whole rescuing power spheres and stuff..." I sniffed while wiping my tears. The girls gasped then hugged me like I was poor puppy abandoned by their owner. "OOOHHH, I'm so sorry for you sweetheart, but don't you worry! You still have us to support you." Mrs Kyoka assures me, wrapping her arm around shoulders and neck.

"Okay, now is not the time to moat our lolly-gagging, now is the time to relax and party! Who wants Mabel Juice?!" the brunette yelled while holding a jar with...... dinosaurs toys! "PASS!" every single girls in the hot spring yell in unison in panic.

"Note to yourself, never ever drink Mabel juice. We really have no idea how she manage to survive this long drinking that." Leona whispered, shivering with goose bumps while looking at the jar. We had fun, soon I was back at my dorm, with someone waiting for me.

"Hey, love." River came and gave a hug. I hugged him back with a kiss on my forehead. "Did you had fun?" he asked, pushing me away gently. I nod my head. "Great, now let's have fun. Just you and me."

"OK!"

We tried pranking, board games and of course... seeing each other's elementals. I literally nosebleed on Ice. God, he was too hot with his hoodie cap. We had fun night, we cuddle each other to warm up. This might be my most relaxing day in ages...

Normal POV

The very next morning, Takeshi and Minako went to the training room where they meet their coach, the one and only, Mr Tategami. The training was brutal, but they weren't injured, just tired. "Alright, lunch starts in 10 minutes, if you are not able to at least a scratch on me, you ain't gettin' any lunch." He lectured while brushing off the dust on his shoulder.

Takeshi was nearly out of breath, Minako was busy thinking of strategy on how to get a scratch on her mentor. So, she slowly walk forward in her elemental Thorn form, in a normal way with a smile, let alone she had her itchy dagger behind her back arm.

Not knowing what the girl was planning, Kyouya stood still thinking what the girl is up to. With his swift reaction after realising her attacks, she missed. Or did she... "Spiedil smackle! Almost had me there, sport." He laughed by her surprise attack.

Not too long, he started to feel itchy on his left cheek, scratching nonstop and it got worse. "Since when did I feel so itchy?!" he whine. "YES! It worked. Finally!" Minako exclaim while jumping in the air. "Boom, you just got my itchy dagger leaf!" she did a weird pose.

Thementor chuckle while scratching his left cheek. "Good job, I think you kids areready for tomorrow." He smirked, giving a thumbs up. "Now, would mind getting acure for the scratch you made." He said in a pissed tone. Minako soon stopjumping around and sweat dropped forgetting that she scratch her mentor withher itchy leaf dagger."Oopsie......" she nervously stammered while taking out the ointment from her minipocket and rub it at the tiniest wound she made on his left cheek. "All right,now have some lunch. Shoo, shoo." Her mentor made a funny face while pushingthem out, except the part that he threw Takeshi out like a rag doll.

In the cafeteria, Fang notice his friends are acting strange. How you may asked? Well, Ying and Yaya are not fighting like usual for their intelligence, Gopal is not overeating like he usually does. Something's not right...he thought.

"You don't say, Fang boy." Bill said sarcastically. Fang yelp by surprise from the demon sudden appearance behind him without warning. "Dude, you could've gave a heart attack!" he shouted at the demon panicking. "Yeesh, no need to be so scary, Fang boy. Besides, don't you have important things to do, like finding out your friends evil planning." He sarcastically pointed at the gang whispering something Fang couldn't hear.

"They're planning on something, and I suggest you look after them. Wouldn't want them to spoil the final event for the couple now do we?" the last five words struck Fang's mind. Could be that Minako likes Takeshi? He thought. He then snapped back to reality, realising his so called friends leaving their seats. He quietly walked out from his seat and followed them.

Meanwhile, with the top strategists meeting held. The room was filled tension, each and every one of them silently waiting for the queen to join the conversation. Not long after, the queen arrived with a cheerful tone on her wheelchair, she still walk or run much but she manage. "What's with all the death smell?! Geez, you people need to loosen up a bit." The queen frown with a pout on her face.

Naturally, tension disappeared and hello sweet cuteness. The girls probably shriek and squeal of the queen's adorableness, well some things never change. The cute little queen fake her cough, knowing why they are here in the first place. "Now, that everyone is here, shall we begin the meeting?" the way she talk was like coming from a whole new person. Not one sound came out.

In fact, everyone was surprised. None of them have seen their queen so serious in their life, or maybe they have forgotten how she look like when she was serious. Soon, she showed the three people on the screen with concern scowled on her face. "Okay, listen up, we quadrupling the securities and I want Chuuya and Dasai with Dianne, Bill and Satoshi with Melody and Kyoka-chan and Ryusa-chan with Miyabi. I want each and every one of you keep on the lookout for any misleading, false plan and more."

"Oh, I wouldn't be too sure about it." The demon grin in excitement. Kaizo left his seat and grabs the demon's collar. "BBIIILLL!!! What. Did. You. Do??!!" he growl as he grit his teeth. "Let's just say that your little brother is doing the work for us. He should be following his so called friends' motives."

"What!"

"Kaizo, sit down. Bill, I agree your idea a bit but know your limits please." Kaizo let go of Bill's collar and went back to his seat. "Now, let the show begin tomorrow..."

Okay, schools back at  15th July and which means........... CURSE YOU BLASTED TEST AND EXAM! YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE! 

Which also means, I would pause my story but still will publish the upcoming chapter. just only it'll take awhile since i would have less time writing it. that's all, but thank you for reading my story since i never knew my story would be interesting. try not kill me but i'm trying my hardest to make this story good OKay? so i'll see you lads next Friday then bye!
