CHAPTER 4: THE PAST

Boboiboy POV

"Everyone, please gather to the training room in five minutes." Said Kaizo. "We'll give you more information before training," Before we left, Leona called me. "Boboiboy, please stay back, we need to have a word with you." Her voice was gentle and filled with concern. I nod and wave my friends as they left.

By the time it just the three of us, Leona took out a strange galaxy orb and turns into a giant space orb covering the three of us. "This is a sound-proof orb." Kaizo explained.

"This orb can block everyone from eavesdropping and our reaction."

Ah... so that what it does...... I thought.

Leona took a very, very deep breath and began to speak about her past.

"15 years ago, my kingdom was a peaceful planet, we were very happy and harmonious." she gave a very sad smile on her face. "That is until my people were under attack by some bandits that tries to steal the three sacred power spheres, their called 'The Three Melody Sisters'. There's the eldest, Musicbot, the second, Dancebot, and the youngest, Melodybot. Each of them has a unique power to bring harmony to the citizens and the source of my kingdom."

"You're a princess??!" Apparently I accidentally shout a bit loud. " I'm sorry."

Leona shook her head and said, "It's alright, though I'm actually a half royalty, my aunt has the true royal blood." Stopped as she mentioned her aunt and began to tear down very......bad.

Kaizo hugged to comfort her, this is my first time I've seen Kaizo being soft. Though I had found myself in a embarrassing moment. "Shh... It's okay, Leona... I'm here, I'm here......" he cooed. With that soft voice of his, Leona soon calm down and Kaizo continue for her.

"After her aunt came back, her energy was over her limits and was in coma for 15 years. After 5 years, her people manage to recover the damages from the war, including reobtaining two power spheres and now they only need Musicbot left."

Leona wiped her tears and took a deep breathe, "But unfortunately, Musicbot has become a prize from the competition you are joining right now. And I'm willing to bring Musicbot back to my kingdom to restore its peace." With that pose and her eyes, I see her determination to bring her spheres back. Even the orb was filled with green flame but not harmful.

Leona sighed and stood up, saying, "We'll tell you the story another time. Let's go, wouldn't want to gain suspicion do we?" she looked at Kazio nod. "You see, Boboiboy... Leona's kingdom is a very secretive and their power is almost similar to the spheres, but stronger. If their kingdom is exposed, the entire kingdom, including the innocent citizens will die. Can you keep it a secret?"

I stared at both of them, Leona standing position, and Kaizo sitting like as if he can lead the army to an instant victory... those pose had me instantly remember how that fight in somewhere a training forest. Out of the blue, tears ran down from my eyes, out from my own willpower. I quickly wipe them as soon as possible to avoid the suspicion.

Leona POV

I knew it. she's still in there... waiting to be free from that dreadful curse. I thought. I popped the bubble with my katana and all of us went to the training ground. As Boboiboy skip forward, Kaizo asked me how did I came back to life. I answered bitterly not to remember the torture.

"We'll... There was a doctor, she has the power to revive peoples live, her methods hurts a lot. You'd say that she's more like a ...... crazy healing doctor." Though her eyes creeped me out the most.

He kissed my forehead to comfort me, and smile warmly. It was so long that I never see that warm smile again. I smile him back but a little dazed as he scratch his cheek. I giggle as he embarrassed himself.

Fang POV

I finished my warm up including my vocal, and looked around, seeing Boboiboy, big bro and the new cadet. But no signed of them. I was getting worried, my patience was at the limit, That's it. I'm going to look for Boboiboy. As soon as I turn my body around, I saw them arrive. I sighed of relieve.

"All right, everyone please gather around." My brother smiled with determination. It's neither grin nor smirk, not even a fake one. It was a real smile. "As you can see, this boy is a wanted criminal. He murdered two innocent lives and he is going to participate this upcoming event. So brace yourselves cadets, cause this got the moves from both from hell and heaven." He pointed at the boy whose almost similar to Boboiboy, except his hair colour is the opposite.

"But I know what you're all thinking." The new cadet spoke like a pissed person, as if she can read our thoughts. Though it's true, why would the wanted criminal join the competition? I took a peek and saw her being sad and pitied the boy, like she knew him better than anyone.

"But he has his reasons. And I got some bad news for you~~" she gave evil smile. Which gave me the chills, I mean my Malay singing is good, it was my most favourite language besides Chinese and English. But those words from the new cadet, struck me like lightning repeating from my mind.

"In this event, singing in Malay is forbidden in this event. It has been our tradition, you can use other language but not Malay." She raised her arm like nothing's wrong. My arm gripped hard and felt rage runs through my veins.

Tch! Great, just great..... I thought. Gopal just rolled his eyes as if he was confident his talents. That made me sigh hopelessly on him though it gave me comfort.

"Hey, don't look down on me, Fang." Gopal said with an stubborn face.

Leona POV

As those two continued to bickering, I was getting pissed off until my final straw snapped.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!! BOTH OF YOU!!"

Both stopped and looked at me, afraid. My whole body was filled with green flames and my hair is slowly turning black along with my face with anger as my fangs are showing. Kaizo grabbed my shoulders and turn to him, our eyes met, trying to calm my nerves.

"Leona, look at me. Look. At. Me." he said. But I was too angry to listened and growled like every wolf would do when their pissed.

Kaizo let out a sigh and lift my chin up and kissed me in front of everyone.

My ears and tail flinched as I was quite surprise from his action. Flustered, I punched him head down to the ground, hard enough to break the ground and look the kids, embarrassed from the situation. "You people saw nothing."

Kaizo POV

Ouch! That hurts... how much strength does she has for the past 15 years?! I stood up and brush off those dust and gotten serious. "All right, no more fooling around. Each of you will pick a song and perform them live in the next 3 weeks. The result will be held somewhere at the specific place."

I looked at Leona and nod. "Leona, you take Boboiboy, the rest of you are with me." I gave a very exciting grin, which made the kids afraid. As Leona took Boboiboy to another room to train him, she turns her head, I could see her soft genuine lips saying, I'll. Be. Waiting. With that, I winked back at her and began to train the kids to say a few foreign languages and dance techniques.
