Jaylani POV:

I woke up and saw that Jahseh was staring at me, it startled me but also made me smile a little.

I was still numb from yesterday, I still don't know what happened with the classroom but I remembered something much worse.

"Hi," Jah said smiling 

"Hi" I replied innocently. 

He rolled his eyes smiling widely, Jah looked so cut when he smiled. 

He picked me up and laid on his back holding me on top of his chest. 

I scrambled around and giggled as he tickled me and kissed all over me.

He stopped and I sat up on his lap leaning down and pecking him on the lips. He started to get hard under me and I started grinding on him for a few seconds making him hold my hips down. I got up and stood over him and laughed running out of the room. 

I ran downstairs and heard loud stomps coming down the stairs. 

I hid in the walk in pantry behind a swiffer and broom. 

I heard him walk right pat the closet.

"Fuck, where did she go" he said. I laughed making him open the door and pull me out of the closet. he pushed me against the wall and started kissing me. I put one finger in between his lips and he lightly bit it. "ow Jah what the fuck" I said dramatically, shaking my hand off. 

He sighed and his face became serious. "sit down, please" he said in a stern voice.

I did as he told me and I sat down at the huge island in the middle of his kitchen. 

"What happened yesterday?" He asked. Confusion and fear spread throughout my body. 

"Uh, I could ask the sam thing" I replied awkwardly. 

"Taylor started talking bad on you and you beat her the fuck up, something changed in you, like... I don't know" Jahseh said looking down.

"Like what...?" I asked carefully.

"Like, something dark came over you, like the "other person" in you is... getting stronger." Jah said.

I gasped. I was speechless.

"But that's not what scared me the most" He said shakily still trying not to make eye contact with me.

I looked at him eagerly and he looked up and looked me in the eye.

"You said; I'll kill you, I've done it before, I'll do it again" 

My head retracted away from his face and my jaw dropped. Fuck, why did I say that.

"Lani," he started.

"Is there something you're not telling me?" He asked in a quiet curious voice. 

I took a deep breath. 

"I've been trying to keep this from you, for the best." I said looking away feeling tears swell in my eyes.

He looked scared.

I took a deep breath. "I have a condition where I will do things when my personality switches and I won't remember them when I'm my... normal self. But they'll come back in dreams. So when I passed out after the fight with Taylor everything came back, that's why I screamed."

He looked sus.

"My mom threw a vase at me and I got mad, really mad. I blacked out and next thing I knew I was on the road. But when It cam back..." 

I broke down.

"Jahseh I did something really bad." 

"Breathe baby breathe," he said rubbing my back.

I took a shaky breath. "I through a plate at her and I took a knife and stabbed her 18 times. Then I alit her throat then took a part the body parts and dumped them in the lake," I said, not even blinking.

Jahseh's eyes widened in shock. He was speechless. 

I started crying even harder. "Jah, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I'm dangerous, I can't control it anymore." I can't believe I even got that sentence out, I was so chocked up, I couldn't keep my breathing quiet. 

He pulled me into a hug without saying anything. "It's okay, it was self defense. You did what you had to. She tortured you for years on end, it's not your fault. It's not like you killed and innocent person." Jahseh said, calming me down. "Have you told Stokeley?" He asked, I shook my head. "Bae, you gotta tell him, he won't press charges, Stokeley has... Stokeley has killed people too." He said, hesitantly. 

My eyes widened and my heart stopped.

"Wait w-what?."

"That's something we're not gonna talk about Jaylani, we did what we had to." Jah replied nonchalantly.

Jahseh started making eggs and bacon while I sat and watched, I've never been a very good cook so I was lucky that Jahseh could. I was interrupted by someone knocking on the door.

I got up but Jahseh pushed my shoulder down so I sat back down. 

"Hello?" I heard Jahseh say faintly.

I heard running.

Ayleks burst into the kitchen. "Girl, what the fuck happened yesterday?" She asked. I was still startled and surprised se was here. 

"Bitch talked shit on my name, I beat her ass." I said sticking out my tongue. 

"OKURRRR," she said making me laugh. 

"Hey Ayleks...." Jahseh said walking slowly back into the kitchen mean mugging me. 

"You want some food?" Jah asked pointing to the eggs and bacon. 

"uhh.... that looks a lil burnt" Ayleks said. 

Jahseh double backed and looked at the eggs and bacon that were now burning. 

"OH SHIT!" He yelled turning off the stove. 

"So.... who's up for some IHOP?" Ayleks asked. Me and Jah raised our hands and chuckled. 

"I'll invite the crew I said." 

"I'll get ready." Jah replied, heading towards the stairs.
