Jaylani POV:
Jahseh and I said our goodbyes to the doctors and the nurses while gathering out things and checking out.
"It's gonna feel so weird sleeping in my own bed," I said.
"We won't be sleeping tonight," Jahseh said smirking.
I rolled my eyes and laughed. Our house was like a block away from the hospital so we walked. We held hands the whole time.
"Sooo Homecoming's tonight," Jahseh said nonchalantly. "
I know," I shrugged.
"Me and Stokeley and the boys are gonna get lunch and get our tux's so I won't be home."
I sighed.
"Well you can do that while Ayleks and I get ready," because I doubt you'll want to be around a bunch of girls doing their makeup," I said walking into the driveway.
"I couldn't care less, as long as I'm with you. I just really need to get a tux and hang with my friends. We've been together 24/7 for two straight months and I haven't seen them and actually spent time with them in way too long."
I nodded.
"I get it. It's fine with me," I nodded.
We walked into the house and I took a deep breath.
"I missed this house," I said looking around.
"Me too," Jahseh said grabbing my waist.
"And it's funny because you're here more than you're at your actual house," he chuckled.
