Present day:

The past few months had been hard for both of them. Jensen coincidently was doing phycology too, and when Gale asked him about it, he said he found it fascinating. (Yet another great trait.) Gale for the first few weeks thought about how he was stalking her to the ends of the earth -literally- but she finally got used to it over the last few months. She, however had many questions. When Jensen was questioned by his past -usually by Gale- he would stutter and go quiet. However, she knew it wasn't her place to go nosying around, so she usually left it at that; and so you could see the clear relief on Jensen's face. Gale used to embarass herself quite frequently in lectures however, Jensen always seemed to turn it back on the lecturer and make him feel embarrassed, and Gale thanked him for that. She didn't know why he was doing all this but she didn't want to ask him about it. But what she can never forget is how jensen protected her from that bastard. The actual impact of the moves that he was throwing were unbelievable. However Jensen's stature showed just that; Gale would (accidently is what she called it) glanced at his chest, over which his tight shirt encompassed his figure and showed his strong muscles and toned body. The look of anger on his face; it was like someone had touched his most treasured possession. She was glad to have him by her side, and they actually were pretty good friends. He would often tease her, and joke around, which kept her happy most of the time. However, she had gotten time off from uni swell as Jensen, so they were both off to go see his friends. He insisted she come, however much arkward she felt. There was nothing for her at home, so she reluctantly agreed to it after subjecting him to 10 minute rant.

"Where are we gonna stay?" Gale questioned. She had no idea of where she was going she just knew she was meeting his friends. Jensen was staying with them for a full week, but Gale couldn't; she had to go home.

"Jared lives just outside of Chicago, so we'll be staying at his place. Is that ok? He's a really nice guy, as well as my best friend. We won't kidnap you... For now." A cheeky smile plastered his face as packed his things, with Gale momentarily scared; however a beautiful smile soon accompanied her face along with his too.

"Is it ok if I go get changed? I won't be long." Gale slipped into the her ensuite.

"Yeah, yeah, just don't take too long... Knowing what girls are like." His eyes twinkled with mischief as he peeked over into the bathroom where Gale was getting changed. Gale however, wasn't aware of his sly actions until she turned around and yelped; he was smirking violently with a raise of the eyebrow. She picked up the nearest object and threw it at his face, but his supreme reflexes enabled him to avoid that missile smoothly.

"No shame!" She banged the door shut, still subject to his roars of laughter. A small smile lit up her face, even though she was humiliated by his peering eyes, she knew he wasn't like that. He respected her privacy, and never did anything without her consent. This was just his way of getting her riled up which is what he did all the time. She looked around at her clothes. She liked to cover herself up as much as possible; she pulled a cream blouse on and slipped into her favourite pair of blue jeans. Her hair was very glossy and it was fairly straight too, so. She sat on the floor and pulled on her knee high boots that went well with her top; they were light brown. Once that mission was complete, she straightened out her top and threw on a leather jacket. She looked in the mirror as she applied eyeliner to her eyelids, finishing with a cat like look. She doubled over a scarf around her neck and she was ready to go. She shook her hair a little and stepped out. Jensen looked very handsome; he had a dark blue cotton tshirt with a v neck, -causing her to blush as that was her first line of sight- his hair was normally good looking as it always was, and he was wearing faded black jeans under it.

"You look beautiful.." Jensen murmured, his eyes on her blushing face. She arkwardly shuffled around, her head looking at the ground.

"You don't look so bad yourself." She regained her composure, smirking.

"Come on, I wanna get the hell out of this depressing place." He lifted his suitcase of his bed and set it at the foot of his feet, he looked ready to run out of there. He took Gale's down too, both suitcases ready to go. With a deep sigh she was ready.

"Yeah, let's go." They made their way out of the University; the air seemed fresher and everything looked much better.

"I'm so glad I'm out of there," She glanced at a Jensen who was walking by her side, whom of which was surveying the road.

"I know right," he quietly said, as he looked at the street ahead of him. Just when she was about to reply, a guy on a bicycle came flying by, whom had no intention of moving for them. Jensen grabbed Gales hand and gently threw her to the side, while he stopped the guy mid track. Jensen's hands were on the handles of the bike, making the bike stop in front of him.

"Get off the street, and watch where the hell your going." He gave him a hard stare sending the guy running.

"I'm sorry about him, he shouldn't even be riding here." He rejoined Gale who was shocked yet again. He called for a taxi and they both got in, afterutting their suitcases in the boot.

"Berwyn please." Jensen smiles kind heartedly as he looked at the man.

"What you kids doin' out there?" The old man seemed friendly, and in return Jensen replied.

"Just meeting some friends. How's your day been Sir?" Gale was heart warmed; Jensen's respect was just great. A little smile grew on her face, thankfully growing unnoticed.

"Ah, the usual kid. Job's not great around here anymore," They had set off and Gale was simply staring out the window, while Jensen leaned back seemingly getting comfortable.

"Ah." Jensen replied, as he checked his phone.

Gale was still staring out the window; cars went flying by, traffic lights seemed to blind her eyes and the rain just dampened her mood aswell as her heart. Why couldn't she just lead a simple life? Her tortured past, the recent ugly molester..

No! She wasn't going to ruin this week. She didn't want Jesnen to worry about her, he wanted to have a good time, and she was going to let him have that.

"Your awfully quiet." Jensen turned to look at Gale who was caught off guard- she turned around to see a worried look on his face.

"Hmm? Oh, nothing. I'm okay." She smiled at him, reassurance her goal. Jensen rested his tanned hand atop her milky ones, causing her to blush -once more-. He always made her blush! What was with him?

"No, tell me. I want you to be happy, and uni isn't exactly a joyride." He chuckled softly as she smiled a little.

"Yeah, I just can't seem to let go of my stress about everything, my life, uni work, relationsh-! U-Uh n-nothing!" She blurted out unnecessary words, words that she had reserved in herself for a long time, and she wasn't going to start having a heart to heart In the back of a taxi.

"Ignore me. I'm tired, I don't know what I'm saying." Gake fake smiled her way through the conversation, yet she knew that Jensen saw tight through that. He just threw her a perfect smile, but she pulled out her hand from under his and she turned her head towards the window just to resume her musings.
