The kiss lingered on his conscious for what seemed like centuries. Seeing Gen with Jared, he raced up to them, but before questioning where gale was, he thought it rude not to congratulate them. He was eternally happy for both of them, his eyes sparkling with gratefulness. He stood next to Jared before clapping a hand over his shoulder.

"Finally huh?" Jared laughed heartily, whilst looking at Gen. Gen looked between the both of them before her eyes turned to Misha who was walking up to them. Jensen threw an arm around Gen, and squeezed her tightly.

"Guys, I'm a little disheartened now that I'm the only one left without a girl," Misha grinned sheepishly, as he came to stand by Jensen. "You just got married, Jensen's gonna marry gale and here I am drinking beer." They all laughed loudly as Misha punched Jensen and Jared lightly, smiling widely.

He turned to Gen who was looking between the three of them, suddenly feeling an overwhelming wave of emotions hitting her. Misha put his arm around Gen, glancing at her lovingly. Jensen looked at the two best friends. He was glad they all had something finally be happy about.

"What am I going to do eh Gen?" Misha's voice cut Jensen out of his thoughts, a smile flowering on his face. Gen suddenly had her hand on Jensen's arm, a serious look on her face.

"Where's Gale?" She glanced around, unable to see her. Jesnen shuffled a little before continuing. Jared's voice interrupted his awkwardness, a smile colouring his voice.

"Done a runner has she?" He smirked before continuing, "We saw you kissing her fa-"

"Jared!" Gen chided, slapping him slightly.

Jensen smiled, before glancing around. "Yeah, she kissed me back but suddenly threw herself off me. Now, I can't find her." Misha sniggered but Jensen thumped him, a reluctant smile touching his lips. "Shut up, amigo." It was his nickname: it annoyed Misha, and everyone used it to aggrevate him.

Jared laughed loudly while Gen smiled, her eyes shining with amusement.

"Maybe she's in her hotel room?" Gen added, looking at Jensen who stood a few inches taller than her. The thought instantly occurred to him, his legs iching him to get moving.

"Go on, go! Who knows, we might be hosting another wedding!" Jensen was already moving; he sprinted out of the hall, towards the hotel.

Gale's POV:

Gale breathed deeply, her shaking form resting on the bed. She rested her head in her hands still in shock from the burns the kiss induced into her. But moreover, it was Aaron who ruined it; she hated him, hated him more than anything. Frightening memories of what he did shot through her mind. Constant bruises, bleeding... He treated her like an animal- No. Not even an animal could be treated as brutally as he treated her. But she had given up on him one day; she smashed a vase into his head, and she remembered his limp body hitting the floor. It was the only thing which was stopping him from grabbing her from the throat and strangling her, and as soon as she'd done it, she'd ran. Ran home. But now, her life seemed to have been getting better but he refused to leave her mind, refused to stop consuming her thoughts. She hadn't known her journey from the hall to her hotel room; it was all a blur, but she'd remembered the look of worry on Jensen's face when she had left him. Gale, so lost in her thoughts, didn't hear the cautious footsteps of a certain man walking towards her door. His soft voice startled her out of her thoughts; 'Gale?' She heard jensen whisper, pressed against the door. She hesitantly walked towards it, giving him no answer.

"Gale, I know your there." Still no answer. Gale raised a hand to the door, resting upon it, but from the outside, Jensen's strange feelings willed him to raise his hands to that certain place too. They both stood there, on either side of the door, the invisible tie strengthening between them. Jensen so utterly caught up in his love, forgot the world around him. His forehead rested against the door, his mind and heart willing her to open her heart up to him.

"Gale, just please open the door." The pleading tone of his voice pulled at her heart strings; but she was afraid of falling for him. She knew she had already but she didn't want to admit it. But more to the point, she didn't want to have a constant fear of Jensen abusing her even though she knew he wouldn't lay a finger on her. She didn't want the constant fear of Aaron just ruining their every memory they'd build together. Now, imagining the future that they might have together cleared up her doubts: she loved him and he loved her. Saying this now, gave her the courage to face him. Her hand rose to the doorknob, hovering over it hesitantly but with hope, she wrapped her fingers around it and pulled the door open. Jensen who was leaning a moment ago into the door frame, straightened his back so it was ram rod straight. Her eyes slowly rose to see Jensen's, full of hope, and full of... Love. He stood there with all the love he harboured, his mouth stretching into a soft smile, and his shining with excitement. His hands slipped from his pockets, now stretching out for hers, taking them and covering them. He moved into the room, Gale moving backwards slightly but without sound. He closed the door as his eyes burned with a passion: "Will you be mine?" The question took her by surprise; there was so much confidence in the way he spoke but the statement itself caused a light inside her to burn so bright she didn't hesitate to answer. She nodded slightly, but as each moment went by, their smiles widened, until they were laughing. Jensen pulled her into his embrace, kissing every inch of her, urgency in his movements. She buried her face in his shoulder, breathing in his scent, it intoxicating her senses, drugging her...

"Gale.." The raw emotion in the way he whispered her name sent shivers racing down her spine. She pulled back only to see him smiling seductively, his eyes darkening with desire. Unable to resist any longer, he pulled her in for a kiss so sweet, he could swear an angel had stolen his breath. He was raining his love on her, his kiss turning heated, his hands moving to her bare skin at the back. She locked her hands at the back of his neck, and had now thrown her head back a grown escaping her as Jensen made his way down her slender neck. His lips left a trail of sparks dancing on her skin, but when his lips reached her ears, and the vow was spoken, she was undone:

"I love you."
