Alastor and Wynter has left the bar to go to a more quiet area to talk about the job he had for her since they had gained attention from the other demons there. She didn't blame them though, it's not everyday you see the infamous Radio Demon and The Huntress I the same place. She didn't like the attention anyways and was glad to finally be out of there. They came to a little cafe and sat down at a table across from each other. Alastor ordered a coffee with cream and no sugar and she got straight black.
"Are you sure you don't want any cream or sugar mam?" The waitress asked.
Wynter shook her head as she smiled.
"No thank you. I prefer my coffee straight and as strong as you can make it."
The waitress nodded then left and returned with their coffee. As she sipped her coffee Alastor smiled at her. His smile unnerved her a little but she didn't show it. Does he ever not smile?
"So, about my job offer. I have a few demons that have decided to cause a few issues for me. I was hoping you would help me with tracking them down and... deal with them."
Wynter frowned looking at him confused for a moment as she set down her coffee.
"Hold on a second, your Alastor. The Radio Demon. From what I've heard you have quite the reputation here in hell and last I heard a lot of people are downright terrified of you. Why would you need my help? Your obviously stronger than me and people fear you."
Alastor gave a little chuckle and laced his fingers together on the table as his smile grew wider.
"Well your not wrong my dear, I do have a reputation. However, these people that I'm having you help me track have overstepped their boundaries and owe me quite a bit. They thought that if they could just run and hide away from me they could somehow get away. You have the skills to track almost anyone here in hell and not only that I've heard your not bad in a fight. Like I said I'm willing to pay you well for this job but I'm not forcing you to take it."
Wynter looked down at her cup of coffee and pondered for a moment then sighed as she needed the money. Might as well take his offer since all she's been doing is simple jobs recently and not made much.
"Alright, so how many are you tracking down and how long ago did they decide to disappear?" She asked as she looked up at him taking another sip of her coffee.
"There are four of them and the last one that decided to go into hiding was two weeks ago. I suggest we start with him first since his trail is still fresh and I want to catch him before he can get any further from me or disappears for good. I do know that he was last seen at a bar in the southern part of the pentagram named The Lazy Goose."
Wynter snickered a little at the name of the bar and sighed.
"I've heard of that bar and thankfully for you I know where it is." She stated as she finished her coffee.
Alastor gave her a wolfish grin and stood up from the table after finishing his own coffee as well.
"Well what are we waiting for then?"
